I think communication is very important. So for a first date, I think meeting for a cup of joe, or somewhere we could talk and get to know each other. I think knowing the basics is very important.
After that, if a second date is in order, dinner, movies, a walk or a hike, or even a nice short ride.
If a third date is ordered, then it's open to whatever can be agreed upon. ๐

Ideally I'd like to meet someone at a designated area, then go for a ride and stop for a cup of coffee, and talk, get to know each other...Granted that might be hard during winter.
Here is how I look at it, is like being pre-approved before you are approved with a credit card, we can talk, text and get to know each other, then a nice cup of coffee to talk and see if there truly are sparks, and if there are, great we'll plan the real date, or if it really goes well, ride to another location for lunch or dinner and continue the day, and if there are not the best we can hope for is that we walked away with a friend.
