I've learned that the best first dates take place during the daytime or early evening, preferably at a decent cafe or restaurant..and definitely not at a Starbucks or similar place. If I am asking you to take the time and meet me, you should at least know that it will get you more than a cup of coffee for your time and effort. I'm old school, so of course I will be picking up the tab with absolutely no complaints.
