Wow...first date. How about simply meeting for coffee or drinks, and if it comfortable, maybe then decide whether or not to get something to eat. I'd like to find out more about each other, and see if there is a reason to have a "first date".

Hmmm, first date idea?? I guess meet up somewhere for lunch first so we can talk and get to know each other a little. As much as I wound love to go for a ride, I would really like to get to know you first to see if I would feel comfortable with you. I don't just hop on a bike with anyone.
