A ride on the back roads for hours. Find a piece of grass for a bite to eat and enjoy getting to know each other. Then back on the road.
If it's too cold, a walk in the woods or at a park, just breathing in the fresh air. And talking.
We can eat later if we have that much to talk about.

A great date would be a bike ride to the coast on a sunny warm day and go north or south along the coast hwy, or out to Julian in the mountains. just crusing and stopping for a meal. or drink here and there. maybe attending a run or overniter somewhere. getting to know each other ifit's a first date.
