I normally let the man choose where he likes to go and what he likes to do. If nothing comes to mind I always have several suggestions.

Don't you just love and hate first dates all at the same time? The anxious wait to meet for the first time. The awkward silences, or even worse, awkward conversations. Do you get coffee? Do you risk getting dinner? Did you pick the right outfit? Are you telling enough about yourself? Are you telling too much? Do I have food in my teeth?
I'm up (or down) for anything that makes both people comfortable. (But who are we kidding-it's a first date, no one is really comfortable!)

What ever works for the two of us, I am not really a date type person, I prefer to meet, and or hang out.. So a coffee shop,or take a walk in a park sounds good, or hang out at your place..
