I think a good way to ease the stress of meeting would be to sit around a campfire have a few beers and just conversation to get to know one another. There is always to much stress to try and plan a perfect date.

Meet up in public first, then no worries if it goes bad. Or we agree on a second date. Coffee, drinks. Dinner, movie or whatever we agree on. It takes 2 people to decide on how to meet. And of course riding our bikes together.
