I think any activity that enables both parties to properly enjoy each other's company would be enjoyable. I don't drink beer, but love liquor, so drinks out somewhere would be good. But I am pretty much down for anything.
I don't believe in stupid dating rules.. if you want to have some fun and it's a first date then ask. I reply to texts usually pretty quickly.. that's not needy it's just good manners if your able. Split the bill, take the whole bill, dine and dash, pay in sexual favours.. I couldn't care less.

I would try and get them in my element so they can see the real me and how much fun I am, how funny I am, how much I have a zeal for life. The thing is, the question should be: Second or Third Date Idea, because I have some really good ones. The first date is all about sitting and talking and getting to know each other and seeing if there is a spark or not. I will not try and manufacture or manipulate to get a spark. It has to be organic and natural. You can't force it. But I will admit some sparks come later on when you get to know the other person which can be difficult on the first date. First dates can be a lot of pressure for some people and it's hard to see the real person.

A good first date would be to meet up at good bar on the waterfront listen to some music good food and then go for a ride if there is chemistry.

A walk around the lake at sunset. I'm not ridiculously romantic but after being in a non-affectionate marriage for 24 years I've decided I DO need to be touched and kissed and cuddled. If you're opposed, don't bother contacting me. And if you're an alcoholic or even a moderate drinker, please leave me alone. Social drinking once a week is ok.
