MY idea of a first date would be going for country ride and then having a nice dinner.

First date starts with something simple, coffee at a public but somewhat secluded coffee house. After some preliminary conversation to establish whether the chemistry is right , a walk at a park or the beach or the mountains with a simple but elegant picnic of fruit cheese and wine.
We move from talk to exploration of each other but not rushed or intense. We end the date before we are ready to, looking forward to our next meeting. You are in my thoughts until I see you again. Seeing each other makes us smile. We almost tremble when we embrace.

I think the first date should be simple, with no pressures or expectations. Decide where you want to go, and keep it quiet...you know you want to talk, and so does he. Dinning out, sight-see, and the like. Going out to a club where you have to scream in his ear to be heard, to me is down right stupid. Talking to each other is the most important thing to do. even if you have been married for 50 years. Get to know each other, before screaming at a club...lol

First dates are so stuffy. Both parties are on best behavior, trying to impress each other bla, bla, bla. My first date idea surpasses all this. Getting on the bike, head out somewhere where we can eat with our fingers (BBQ or perhaps crab), while enjoying the evening listening to Jimmy Buffet or carribean style tunes. Top this fine idea off with a couple of cold ones.

A good first date could be visiting the Jenks aquarium, going for a motorcycle ride in a scenic area, walking along the river or having dinner together. Any activity where we can interact with each other and talk. Definitely not a movie on a first date. Tennis anyone?
