I prefer on a first date to do something that involves alot of talking and getting to know the other person, usually a walk by a lake or a park and dinner followed ny a ride somewhere if teh weather permits.

We can stop for a cool drink , walk in the park or along the beach shores. Get to know each other, communicate, just enjoy our first visitl If things go well we can meet again. As far as kissing on the first date. Welll, if it happens it will be fine with me.....I really want to spend the day to really get the feel of things. I think it is important...

Maybe a long ride on a beautiful day up to one of the cozy nearby towns for lunch and a game of pool., Or a kick butt concert!, or even a poker run by day and a quick shower before headin off to a nice dinner(I NEVER cook on the first date....toooo nervous). I am very versatile. I am comfortable dressed up or dressed down!!!

My first date idea would be any thing we might have in common to break the ice and for both of us to feel comfortable. I usually enjoy somewhere with an opportunity to talk so you can get to know one another and see whether or not you feel a connection.
