We would meet somewhere, maybe Sherlies on 94 in St. Charles sometime Sunday morning.
Take 94 to Alton, maybe swing though a marina on the way to "check out the river". Cross the Discovery bridge, get on the river road. Go up the look out hill road in Pere Marquette state park and stop at one of the scenic lookouts for a break. Then on to Campsville ferry. Eat lunch at the restaurant right next to the ferry in Campsville. Back down through Calhoun County to the Golden Eagle ferry. We will figure out where to go next from there.

meet my biker partner and ride into the sunset. If the weather isn't great, then how about cross country skiing, walking on the beach or the waterfront (we have beaches in my town), hiking, sailing, visiting the Farmer's Market or Pike Place Market (anytime), even bowling (when it's cold outside and there's nothing else to do)........

A ride around sacandaga lake, stop for lunch at some outdoor patio over the lake, have an ice cold lemonade and back for another ride around the lake, stop for a drink and enjoy the sunset.

I would like a mutual date idea. Maybe a late afternoon ride or if there is a poker run or charity run; good idea. But I think the idea should be mutual; something we are both comfortable with and FUN. Having fun on that first date is important. Maybe we would go to an amusement park and ride every ride there with a beer now and then to catch our breath!! Go to the Mts and ride the rapids; who knows until we know each other a little better and make a decision together.
