there’s quite a few out there with strong opinions one way or another.  it’s really no different than politics these days. some Harley guys even hate Harley's.  that’s the way it was when the V-Rod first came out.

I am $10,000+ in the hole on the 06 UltraClassic I had! It also contributed to my divorce from my marrige of 32 years! ( My ex let the HD dealership saleman use her to get to me and talk me into buying it) Needless to say ,  "The Motor Company" will never get a dime of my money ever again!!! They use Patriotism, customer loyalty and nostalgea to sell an inferior machine!! The best thing to happen to the american motorcycle market is Polaris! My next bike will be an Indian Chieftan or Victory Cross Country Magnum Although I will never Compromise for long distances, I will continue to ride a Goldwing! I'm spoiled!!

I love Harleys because they ar lovely but lot of problems. Like overheat and many more. I got Blackbird an Vulcan900 and i do plenty of miles in Europ and they never let me down. And wit Harley you can ride it anytime but not every time u come back to home ;)

My guess is that the HD people will not answer in the affirmative so they won't sound like elitists. It does not matter what you ride, as long as it is what makes you happy. My co-worker lost his HD due to the economy. His elitist attitude was so over the top that he would not stoop to the level of riding my Honda. He would rather sit at home and pout than get on another bike and enjoy the ride - ridiculous!

had one of those, loved it. would not have traded it in if i didn't have to. smooth power supply, decent brakes, comfy seat and sounded great with the highway hawk pipes. :)
