Why is it that there are sooooo many men out there that are riding by themselves? Every time I see one of you I want to pull you over and give you my number.

I figure that there are a few of the obvious reasons, your wife/girlfriend doesn't like to ride. If that is the case you need to get someone who is interested in what you do. Then there could be the reason that you just like doing the guy thing and not having a rider. There could also be the fact that you just haven't found that special someone to ride with yet.

Well what are you waiting for, go for it! Join Biker and find that special someone out there. This does not mean you have to get married or become a "non-single" man. There are plenty of women out there just looking for a person to ride with and enjoy the day. Who knows where it will lead but what have you go to lose!!!!

    Enjoy and happy riding!

I never would have guessed there were more guys around like myself that have an issue with starting relationships...even if just for a riding partner. I tried a couple of the web dating sights, and frankly got the beJesus scared out of me by how some people have misled us by pics that were 6-10yrs old, and taken before their 4yr long binge on Meth...Sorry, but too true.I don't think some of the ladies have a grip on the fact that some tattooed Harley riding tough guys have feelings, and morals as well...Enough of that..
I do intend to get busy and try to find my riding partner, either beside, or behind me and intend to start living a more social life..Is there an eligible single female that's not currently in a relationship,(No Cheating) that is looking to meet a sincere rider for a chance at meeting that nice guy? ..Beside me or behind me can be your choice!

Artisan...I enjoyed reading your post and I myself am looking for someone to ride with too bad you live slightly more than a few miles from Atlanta. That is very considerate of you to try to provide the most comfy seat you can. It looks quite comfortable. You sound like a nice guy to ride with :) ...if you are ever near Atlanta...I am just northeast of Atlanta off of hwy. 85. Anyway, I was raised in Houston so LOVED you in the cowboy hat. I have a few myself. Love my Resistol...take care...the comment I want to make is I wish there were an easier way for those women who love to ride, like myself, to find a guy who likes to also ride and it can be most difficult if one or both parties are on the shy/ introverted side. I know there are guys who would love to have an experienced FUN passenger to ride along with him and keep him company and share the adventure of the ride with him. To bad these guys don't have a sign on their shirt or wherever letting the ladies who enjoy riding know that if they are interested in riding just say "Hi". It's like ships that pass in the night. They never share the fun of a ride because the single guy riding and the single lady that is not riding ...both have no idea that the other would love to ride or cruise... with no strings. If guys would really like a companion rider he should put his antennaes up and take note if any females are checking out him and his bike...they probably would enjoy a guys ask us please. If a woman really wants to ride she will stop what she is doing and start admiring your bike in hopes that YOU WILL ASK HER IF SHE WOULD LIKE TO RIDE. If she takes time to stop and check your bike out guys she has already checked you out and is hoping you are nice and safe and she is willing to take a chance to ride with you and she will not turn you down unless you are not nice and hopefully you will be safe for her sake if not for your own. So GUYS IF YOU SEE A WOMAN LOOKING AT YOUR BIKE IT MEANS YOU NEED TO ASK HER IF SHE IS INTERESTED IN A RIDE, BECAUSE SHE IS! No risk of a turn you down, because a woman would not bother to look at your bike if she felt uninterested. Remember when guys admire your bike they are actually interested in the bike, but sometimes...most times ...when a woman is actually admiring your bike it is probably not just the bike...its you and sharing a fun ride with you that she is truly thinking do not be afraid to find out. Just start talking about the bike and find out what she is really wanting to do. Linda

i dont feel like it should be a responsibility kind of thing
i have had pillions that want you to go faster and ones that want you to go slower the choice is yours
i usually decide how im going to ride before the ride starts and then ride to the conditions (i have had the kidney punch) if you pick it right it works out great, if you dont, not so great
most of my rides are solo
i wouldnt expect a pillion to enjoy sliding etc

    cheers dan

I ride alone because I haven't found someone to ride with me. I'm extremely shy around women, so have a bit of a problem meeting someone.

Well, I don't always ride alone. Last Saturday I took along my 9 year old niece for a poker ride out of Arlen Ness. The kid won a leather jacket with her three kings. I had crap for a hand.

Now if I can just find some hottie who wants to be on the back of my bike (or has her own bike) and doesn't live several thousand miles away.

I thought that if I bought a bike w/ basically the ultimate passenger seat she would be more than willing to go and join "the scene" etc but no. It is kinda heartbreaking but I will never force. It would be great to find a group etc whom has a gal that needs a seat, no strings attached.
Sure, riding alone or just w/ the guys, bangin' the throttle "REGULARLY" is great fun but I actually like it better on the scenic rides if I have a passenger for I ride VERY conservatively so as not to scare or harm.
I just joined BikerKiss, I am in the Los Angeles area. The summer heat is letting up and I am getting ready to ride a lot again... Brad.

As much as we like to have a sweetheart with us, sometimes it's nice to ride without that responsibility. I for one ride completely different when I have a passenger because basically, I am responsible for their safety.
Without a passenger, if I feel the urge to open the throttle or lay the bike over in a hairpin, I can without getting the all so famous kidney punch. Which in all honesty ladies, doesnt help our concentration on what we are doing at the moment.
