I've been thinking lately of getting a new bike. With everyone being so far away, I don't think my butt can handle long trips anymore on my Fatty. At my age I need a little more comfort. But, I won't be getting rid of it either. I went shopping yesterday and this is what I'm looking at now for an addition. Ahhhhhh, I can see it now. What's in my future? I'm not sure about the long term thingie..but in August I'm going to MA and having a hellova great time! Then before the year is out, I'm hoping to make another trip to the Keys...I've been dared that I can't break my Bushwacker record...and I KNOW I can. lol After that, well, it's any person's guess what the future holds...do I have plans? Well, yeah...doesn't everyone? I've just come to realize that the road to hell is paved with plans...I'm taking a different avenue! Taking life as it comes...and hoping for the best! Good luck to everyone!
Let's see -- future. Meet more of the people on the forums, put yet another set of tires and brakes on the Chief. Pay off the final 2 bills I have, retire (from 2nd career), win the lottery (it could happen, but I'm not counting on it), travel, travel, travel. Oh yeah, and find the best possible partner for me. Sounds about right. Now if you mean another bike, it'll be another Chief when they go back into production next year or so.
That is a nice looking ride Pirate. I have been looking for a new bike myself, the one I have is very suited to the tight twisty roads we have in my area but I am planning on doing a bit more long distant touring, cant afford to run two bikes so will have to try and fond someting that handles it all
AzPirate write: I agree, She would make any bike look great!!!! And she knows that the bike I have now is blue also, hehe.
Im still looking. It's not that I don't have a bike to ride now. Just maybe wanting a little more. No hurry, I'll find something I like for those long rides soon.
Hey bro, c'mon if not for monetary and space restrictions I couldn't even tell ya how many bikes I would have!!! For now 2 will have to do. My main ride a 2002 Roadstar and my 1987 Virago 1100. In the future?? Ya never know!!

been a backside adornment on one of those can tell ya so cumffy I fell asleep...
Pirate, is that an Ultra Classic your looking at? Heck, you have so many gourgeous roads up there around Show Low! You should get a Vrod or a Buell. Have you ridden Hwy191 from Alpine, through Hannigans Meadows, down to Morienci? It's simply awesome. The views, the curves, it's a must ride for anyone living in Arizona! I come up your way at least twice a month to get out of this oven called Phoenix. Whatever you end up getting, I'm sure it'll keep ya happy.
Were ya at Hacienda HD? If not, go in and tell them you needed it yesterday and order that blue baby. Just tell the owner you were referred by someone who works where his son in law is going to school. We want to see you on that bike!!!!!!!
