true compatibility Posted on Sep 27, 2006 at 01:54 AM
You know, all this talk about marriage vs living together etc. really is beside the point. Y'all are missing the true, reaally major question of TRUE COMPATIBILITY!! Namely: Mayo vs Miracle Whip? Or maybe, I've just had one too many drinks after work this evening. In related news: smothered and covered hash browns are the ULTIMATE ending to a perfect night of drinking with co-workers. I'm off to bed. I'll be really amaazed if this actually makes it onto the blogs. hee P.s. I vote Mayo.
A prayer for the Stressed... Posted on Aug 21, 2006 at 09:10 PM
Just a little prayer to help you through your day... God grant me The SERENITY to accept the things that I cannot change. The COURAGE to change the things that I can. And the WISDOM to hide the bodies of the people that I had to kill today because they ticked me off.
What got you started into bikes? Posted on Aug 14, 2006 at 12:14 AM
I was a kid about 7 or 8 years old and one of my uncle's nephews (from his side of the family - sort of a cousin by marriage rather than blood) used to come every summer to work the hayfields. One summer he brought his bike. I think it was a Kawasaki. Not sure of the model/year. I just remember going for a ride and loving it. I was head over heels in love with motorcycles. A couple of years later, I discovered Harleys and it was all over with. Turned out bikes were all over my family as my Uncle Chap (Mom's brother) had one with a sidecar that he used to ride the kids in until his wife finally made him sell it and buy a car because that was their only transportation! This was just after WWII. Mom said she used to ride with him all of the time and even went for a ride on Kermit's bike that summer. Several of my cousins had bikes of various makes and models as well and I would beg rides every chance I got. So I guess I came to it honest. What about you? What got you interested in bikes?
