I make a point of not debating religion or politics.
To entertain productive concepts and ideas can be so much more rewarding.
I make a point of commenting on issues, which have a direct bearing on the welfare of this country.
Religion and Politics go together and most certainly fit that criteria in todays world.
Can think of few more productive concepts then the continued safety of our country. Sounds pretty rewarding to me.
The assumptions you've made are entertaining.
The assumptions I've made are based on a world view developed while growing up as a military dependant in other countries (ie.. Military Brat.. MilBrat).
Born in Asia and spent the first twenty-five years of my life in the military community.
Both of my parents speak fluent Arabic in several dialects, I would also except my favorite term during language classes appears to have been; {{eennal marid menul madressa }}.
Has been many years, but I think thats "I'm sick of school" in Arabic.
The Arab cultures and subversion of the Muslim religion by radical islamic elements were regular subjects of discussion in our household and community.
This was particularly the case after the car bombing of our next-door neighbors house in 1975 in Greece. They missed their targets, but did manage to severely injure my neighbors ten year old daughter, while they were trying to kill my family.
'Some make the world go round,
others watch it turn'.
There is a book out there, written in the late 1790's. The author put a line in it.
"So long as a single drop of my blood shall flow in a mans veins, that man shall answer his country's call in times of need" .
My great grandfather 5 times back wrote those words.
A distant family member did some research recently, as far as can be determined this has been the case to this day. Well over a hundred male descendants, and all who were physically capable have enlisted or served in government service at some point in their lives.
We currently have 6 (I know of) in active combat zones. My brother, his two sons, My sisters son, and two cousins. We will have 8 by the end of July, as 2 more cousins are due to rotate in (one of them is a beautiful young mother of 2 children).
I myself would be serving would they let me, and tried to serve during desert storm (They wouldn't allow me to reenlist in 1990.. seems they didn't want the stitches from the recent surgery I'd had ripping open in the field). Looking back on it now I can see their point.. At the time I was pretty pissed at them. lol.
The wheels of this world are greased with the blood of those who are willing to step forward and fight for what is right.
The freedoms we enjoy have been paid for in blood, much of that blood was my family.
My family does not stand idly by and watch the world turn. We take the actions we deem necessary to insure the rights of others in this country to "stand by" should they so chose to follow that course.
In this case, it is the relatively simple matter of not paying my money to a site (BikerKiss), which shares its revenue with a site that provides a friendly forum for Pro-Terrorist and Anti-American messages.
Spell check is my friend...
Mine also, should have used it in my last post.
When I look back over it I see that I had two spelling errors as well as a punctuation error.
Proper English and punctuation were never my strong points.
Must have had my umbrella open on the days they were teaching us those subjects. lol.
No offense meant by any of this WrenchWhore.
You and I seem to agree on several subjects. Certainly on the need for improvements in the technical aspects of this site.
We do appear to have some major differences of opinion in our philosophical outlooks on life and politics.
One of the great things about this country of ours is that two people with diametrically opposed viewpoints can coexist without blowing each others cars up.. or Bikes as this case may be. lol.
So I'm gonna agree to disagree with you and wish you well.

And now I'm gonna get back to what I came here for, and look around for the next and last Mrs. Milbrat63.
This site is full of wonderful ladies who have been unappreciated by the men in their lives, I'm looking to find one I can appreciate in the best ways I know how.
Any of you ladies interested in a ride and hopefully close enough we can see each other?
