Bikerkiss wants to add a "motorcycle Roads" features. Our members can submit their favourite roads and share with the other members in their area.

1 Our members can search a road in a special area which submitted by other members.
2 Our members can check other members'favourite roads in their area.
3 Paid members can invite other members for a tour.

What do you think of it?

Any suggestions?

Kevin:

Thank you for the consideration.

I've started individual suggestion box submissions in the hopes of BikerKiss getting things working as one would expect from a site that claims to be:

'The best and largest dating site for biker singles'

AND

'Where biker friends and singles feel at home!'.

I'm not really a Biker, I'm more of an avid motorcycle enthusiast.

Take a quick glance at my user name.
Now consider that I live in Southern California, own a few motorcycles and spend much of my time riding.
For me to make this happen I bill by the minute.

When 4 days of Gold Membership are rewarded for a suggestion I have to laugh.
Doing the math $19.95/30 X 4 = $2.66

If you wish to reward my suggestion box efforts with cash I would be grateful.
I'll be happy to help promote the site and praise the quality once it returns.

At present I would suggest BikerKiss get the basic functions working properly.
I can't emphasize the importance of this site running in REAL TIME rather than the unacceptable delays that accompany pre post monitoring.

As a community, the members can make notification of any posts or content that is deemed unacceptable using the 'Report Abuse' function.

I'm a old fashioned kinda guy in that my 'stuff' has to function as designed, intended or expected.

Do not contain your site URL address in your photo.Quatlity suggestion will be offered longer gold membership.

Everyone has been complaining for a very long time about all the problems with BK and now there saying there working on things. I think it's all BS - because I haven't seen any improvements yet.

I complained for over 9 months that my Instant Messenger wasn't working.
That's all I ever got from BK was were working on it, WELL, when I'm paying for something to work I want it to work.

It is very obvious that you want to have a "roads" feature in your new version of BK. Although you want this to be a prominent feature of BK, from the comments you are receiving it should be apparent to you that current BK members are not really that interested in it. If someone has a desire to ride in a particular area, they will post a message and ask other members who may have done it. If a group gets together and does a run, they might post about it, but it's not like this site is big on bringing people together to meet on the best roads to ride. Members get together to meet and socialize and riding just comes with it - it's not usually the main reason for the meeting. I think you are spending too much time trying to perfect a way to catagorize road trips when that is not the primary reason people come to BK. You need to spend more time focusing on making it easier for members to connect with each other. Successful get togethers and the formation of lasting friendships and even sometimes happy couples are the best advertising you can get. Concentrate on bringing people together and making communications faster and easier.

Hello Cinderella,

lots of members did not post here."Motorycle roads" and "Motorycle tour" feature will enhance the communication between our members.

Bikerkiss will also pay attention to the members who are not seeking for a relationship.

I have to agree with milbrat and cind---unlike what you believe is the case, a great deal of members who aren
t looking for a relationship ARE looking to meet the bk members at rallys and other gatherings. The same as the folks who are looking to hook up and start a thing. From that of my BK friends and from my own experience here, when we are planing a get together and discussing and or posting important imfo BK does its best to delete postings and pertenant site imformation and that fact makes the planning difficult. Most of what i
ve posted for the upcoming VA BK Rally is deleted as was the case with the NY gathering. But we manage without the backing we deserve from BK. Also when I asked about some goodwill from BK on your other thread it seemed you danced around my request to avoid answering simply yes or no.
BK
s commentment to Suz and the New York gathering was never honored and thats just plain bad business!! And now you aren
t replying to my post to you on your other thread. 20 or more of my friends have left this site because of such treatment and joined other Bike sites---It does
nt make much sense to alot of the peeps who post regularly way BK treats us like children instead of the best group of folks around. After all without the members BK is history as would be your income.

Here is the gal that put the NY gig together for her friends but was never thanked or acknowleged by BikerKiss.

Bro understand we are here to join together and enjoy one another at such get togethers and we work our a$$es off to make it happen!!!--Join us as we joined you, please----Cut

Maybe the group forum will solve this problem.

Kevin maybe absorbing and giving some thought to responses you have recieved would solve the problem ------We are fukkin telling you what the members want --just shut up and listen----its really very simple dude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kevin:

I can't help but think you have no idea how much effort is involved in mapping a motorcycle run. To generate a map including accurate directions, mileage etc. is quite time consuming.

It's one thing to take a few snapshots at a destination / party but quite another thing to document all the sights , views and vistas which a well laid out run can be expected to travel through.

I have been digitally documenting my personal Sunday Rides in and about the local area for quite a few years. For me to do a particular road any justice I have to spend most of the day, not riding but taking pictures.

I've found it is much easier for me to set up a helmetcamera rig and video the route and then spend countless hours editing that footage which might have some interest to someone other than myself.

You want to provide me with the equipment, crew and funding, I'll be happy to travel the world documenting all the motorcycle roads...

BikerKiss is a dating site. Might I suggest you focus your attention on the social scene and facilitate the dating aspects of motorcycling.

There are quite a few print publications which do an excellent job of presenting the biker lifestyle. First that comes to mind would be Paisano Publications - Easyrider, Biker, In The Wind etc..
What you have here are bikers looking for people to share the experience with, be it searching for their soul mate or just a group of like minded people with which to socialize in hopes of kindred souls crossing paths.

Appears to me that BikerKiss has yet to realize that motorcyclists are not societies's run of the mill, ho-hum sheeple.

I think you will find that listening to what the members want will be much more rewarding than trying to fit motorcyclists into your equation.

If BikerKiss really wants to cover some ground, generate a reputation that will be self promoting, you would do well to cut loose of most of the rules and start thinking outside the box.

FYI - the preview feature needs some serious work...

Ok.. Ive been quiet here on the problems and you just Dont Get It...

WE are what makes this site.. Not BK.. All U can do is help us or hinder us in our communicating with other members.. And lately bk has not been helpful..

On your Roads discussion here.. As a rider/biker I travel the roads and keep em in my head of whats good and bad. As far as puttin it on paper, takeing pictures of them and keeping a journal really isnt my thing. Dont know on others here but its just me..
Its hard to put it on paper, with times of travel on roads and trips.. With a bike many things change on the way.. WE expect to be somewhere, but where that is just cant be in stone.. That takes the adventure out of it..

As far as organizing rides and rallies here.. We do pretty good without BK's Help.. We found that the forums are a good way of posting our rallies and rides... WE have been very successful in the past doing it this way..

I suggest you take your time to get to know whats been going on here first!!. Before comming up with new screens or ways of doing things.. Being a NEWBIE as you are, take your time and get to know us.. Every relationship takes time for others to get to know you.. Ease into it and learn from your mistakes... Im thinking you probably figured that out by now??? Or Hope soo!!!!

Peace & Ride Safe...

2nd post of the day.. Ummmmm will show sometime or not at all... LOL

Softail, Thanks for explaining reality to Kevin!!! You did a much better job of it then I could have!! I just get flustered and bug eyed when people start a job without knowing and understanding who the fuk they are working for.

Kevin how can U refuse a PLEASE.. From CUT??? Damn Havent seen that in awhile on here.... And many good responses/suggestions from MILBRAT63.. Also cant forget CINDERS comments and everyone elses.

What would serve me better would be a source for using secondary roads to get from point A to B...

Say I am in Jones OH and want to go to Smile VA...and I DO NOT want to use interstate. A resource that would give me a route using secondary roads would be great. This feature I would use.
