Judy Dozier (former keyboard player for Billy Idol) and Vernon Grant (the guy who created Snap, Crackle & Pop)... I am sure there are more... Chris Hope (former Pittsburgh Steeler).

Larry Holmes the boxer comes from Easton, PA where I grew up. But Easton was getting so bad I had to move a month ago. In fact, Larry's cousin was shot 4 blocks from my house the week before I left (he survived--his friend didn't).

Also local is Mario Andretti and his son Michael living in Nazareth, PA. I used to work for an RV dealership and Mario would come on Wednesday mornings only when the place was closed to the public but all employees were there.

Then there was Homer Long, the shortest man in OK and Bill Short, the tallest man in OK. Both have towns named after then, within about six miles from my house. That's almost the long and short of it, except for A cerain world famous tall tale teller, just cain't remember his name. : )

Hmmmm, wonder who heis!!!
I lived in Muskogee for 8 years. I would love to learn more about the history of the five civilized tribes. I have been told that my 2nd or 3rd great grandmother was Cherokee and Choctaw.

I'll name drop: Keanu Reeves, Reese Witherspoon, Dan Akroyd, Jack Lemmon, Walter Mathau, Sophia Loren, Cameron Diaz, geez, too many. None of them know me or gave me any of their money LOLOLOL

First, I thought Elvis was from Tupelo Mississippi? They claim that as his birthplace.

In my hometown, President Warren G Harding was born there, and is buried there. Rod Serling, from the "Twighlight Zone" fame, was from there and TZ actually started out on our local radio station. Toby Harrah, who used to play for the Cleveland Indians, Jim Thorpe (Browns fame) , and Major league baseball umpire Larry Barnett (still out there calling balls and strikes, and is the senior umpire in the AL) are all from there. And I have heard that Huey Lewis lived there until he was around 7 or 8 yrs old, but I can't claim that to be 100% true as I've never found any concrete evidence on it. Oh, and we are also the popcorn capital of the world too. Huge popcorn festival there every year the weekend after Labor Day.

Popcorn capital huh? Kewl!
Fort Payne Alabama is the sock capital! Lot's of interesting facts about many places.
