Rocky, Thanks for your post and for all the brothers and sisters who offer their support. Its a drag when you need a walker to get from the wheelchair to the bathroom. This downtime is going to be good for thinking about what I am going to do with my bike. Alot of it depends on how much I get from the insurance company. I hope to be back in the wind by the time it gets warmer.
Richard

Glad your alive...and you will heal. You'll be in the wind again...and fairly soon.

Hang out here and make new friends while you are down. Bike..sorry it got hurt but it can be fixed too, if not, replaced then.

Two types of bikers ya know....those who have went down...and those that will.

The wind is in your heart. Close your eyes and ride. You'll get that bike back together and yourself in it in no time. Speedy recovery!

SS..please pass on the following to Rich.

Many good thoughts and prayers heading your way. Just look at it as a brief set back in your riding schedule. Bikes can be fixed and/or replaced...Take your time, heal up properly, and when the time is write, you'll be back in the saddle.

Peace...
Jers

Man, Rich...hate to hear that happened, but glad to hear it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

Sorta the same thing happened to me and my ex a few years back, but we both walked away with no broken bones. That stuff happens fast...you don't realize it until it's over.

The scoot can be taken care of...with or without insurance. Just glad you're only sporting a cast for a few short weeks. Hang in there, you'll be back in the wind before you know it!
