BHG,

I'm truly saddened by your loss.

Think fondly of the memories that have been left to you and share them with everyone you can and be proud of whom you had in your life to give you these great memories.

My condolences to you and your family.

-Rev

Hard to lose the matriarch! I thank god everyday I have time with mine still.

It is hard to loose the matriarch, and today we spent the day reminiscing and recalling "grannyisms" and enjoying all the wonderful memories she created in our lives...things we would have never had if she had not touched our lives...and we will always have those.. it was odd that as my house began to fill up, with my kids and my kids spouses, my brothers and sister and their spouses, their kids and other family members and friends, and my house was cramped and full, not one single person, not one, sat in granny's spot. That was her spot, always, where she could make it to from point a to point b and no one was to sit in it in case she decided to join us, and today no one sat in it, I suppose just in case she decided to join us....

Blondey you know darn well she was sitting there watching...she was keeping her seat warm...an enjoying the Family banter.....they never truly leave,,,,,
so sweet....

You are one strong lady. I admire you for your attitude and clear thinking.

You make it very obvious how well a job your mom did with your upbringing...I'm sure she is proud of how you are taking care of things for her.

My hats off to her...and you.

Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers and well wishes..SS I got your message but cell went dead...too many calls to make and messages to send...on the charger for a minute but will get back to you.
Mom is dancing at the moon for the first time in ten years and flailing her arms freely and smiling...she was so at peace afterwards...I held her for so long and she seemed so calm, more than I can remember her to be in so long...Her spirit is still here, in my house, and as I wrote her obit this afternoon, I smiled and wrote a little of her orneriness into it, that only those who knew her well will understand, as obits goes, it said "The Family would like to extend a special thank you to staff of St. Anthony?s Hospital, Midwest City Fire Station #5, and EMSA" and of course reading into it, it is an obit..but those it was written to, the hospital, fire station and EMSA, made multiple calls here and helped her multiple times and know that we mean it from the bottom from our hearts.
And to all of you, thank you for your heart felt thoughts and prayers. Our family is close and our bond is powerful enough to overcome.
