Good for you Roseanne: I am not sure age is a factor anymore. "Older" women have trouble finding men their age as statistically women outlive men and therefore there are more of us. So the field of unmarried men our age is limited. Addtionally, many of those who are available are looking for Cindy Crawford look a likes (these usually do not own mirrors) So, I think people while not admitting if often "settle" for whoever is willing, whatever the age. Me personally, I am not raising anybody, nor am I supporting anyone!

Ive dated as young as 30, but the reality of it is, it's temporary, especially if they've never been married or never had kids. For now I'm my own soulmate, and am happy with my life. when the time comes to settle down, he'll certainly be someone who's eye's are failing a bit, has a tummy, a little snow on the roof, loves to ride and loves me to pieces. Hey there Roseanna...welcome.
Just because there is snow on the roof.. doesn't mean there isn't fire in the kitchen.
and ah... hubba hubba
Char: I am so glad you made a wonderful connection. Miss you babe. call or email me anytime.
Welcome to the new babe from Canada! Loved that 'snow on the roof' comment. I've never heard it before, but i love it.
Lunar: Loved chatting with you yesterday sistah! Can't wait to ride with you.
Nascar:funny guy! Miss you too.
Saxon: Did you get my reply emai! from bk? They probably ate it.
I love this forum, probably because I am 49 yrs young and a lot of guys think that's too old. You're only as old as you think and feel. It is validating to look in here and see some open-mindedness re:age.
Doc and I are wrenching on the Viago before he leaves tomorrow. It has been wonderful having him here visiting. I will miss him!

Cweet Char met an old soul in a young body at the pool two days ago. Let me tell ya folks that man & I 'connected' in many ways.
Would I let the age difference stop me from getting to know him better? NO!!!
Age is totally irrevelant. He & I shared more in the few hours we were together than some peeps I've spent weeks with.

LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!
I've never dated a younger man. Always been drawn to men a little older, but certainly not saying I wouldn't.
He just can't be so young he thinks Lynyrd Skynyrd is an old boyfriend, doesn't remember JR getting shot, and says "Starsky and who?".
LunarSoul write: Well here's my opinion fellow wind seekers!!! It does not matter what your age is. Here's what matters ... how WELL you maintain your body, soul, and spirit. If you got those in tact, and they're up to your expectations of yourself, it doesn't matter your age when you share your time with anybody. You feel balanced and therefore, hopefully, happy inside and out? And, taking it one step further, you meet up with someone who's NOT in that place, you just ain't gonna mix. So -- my opinion --- I don't believe in age, I believe in spirit.

older woman and younger man.. what a great concept.. :-) to me. . age is only a number , it's the person that counts , so if you base a relationship on age you're missing out ... and that opinion has nothing to do with the fact that the woman I like is older than me.. as long as two people make each other smile and make each other feel good about themself , who cares what age they are.. as long as they're both legal... lol
