Jerry's right. You need to make sure that you satisfy yourself. The thing that caught my eye though was the fact that you sampled 25 pieces of merchandise, and left the store empty handed.

I know when I get like that, there's a reason that I leave the store empty handed and the reason usually lies within me.

I don't think you are too picky. I think that these little things that annoy you are telling you that you just haven't found the right one yet. They are just little signs that you shouldn't waste too much time unless it is to just have fun. When the right one appears, you won't care if he packs his cigs on his head in public or walks around biker events wearing camo pants with tie die tee-shirts in clashing colors. I know this because I could have written your post--I am having the same experience. Only when there is true love can you fully accept someone for who they are, quirks and all.

Well, everybody has their little quirks. You just need to find somebody who has quirks you can live with.

But to answer your question, yea, it sounds like you're being a little picky. When seeking perfection, you loose before you begin.
