When you meet someone...what little quirks would turn you off? Not necessarily make you not like the person as a friend or riding buddy, but turn you off as pursuing a relationship with them?
Sometimes I think maybe I'm too picky or let the stupidest things ruin it for me. Like, cursing. Don't get me wrong, I let the 'F' word fly, and I do my share of 'dam*n this and sh*it that' when with those I'm tight with, but not in everyday conversation or it's not every other word out of my mouth. I get a big knot in my throat when I am with someone and it's constantly "GD this and GD that"....it makes me grit my teeth!
Tell me it's not just me! I know some of you have those little odd things that make you cringe when others do them...fess up! I gotta hear. It'll make me feel better about mine!!
Of course, ya'll know there is no offense intended to anyone with my example. There are just some things you don't do right off the bat when first meeting someone.

I raised my son to have good manners, good communication skills, open doors, be thoughtful, kind, flowers, cards, lotsa love and respect, etc...We do that in S. CA as well. I know he appreciates it. He is one in a million. At 19, he is way ahead of the game in these areas: Emotional, social, intellectual, and business-wise. As his mom, I have been taking a back seat for awhile, but I can be proud of the fact that he is well launched. Love to watch him fly. However, YOU have that beautiful accent! Totally charming.
Sounds like you've got a lot to be proud of! It's so nice to meet a man who has been raised well and knows how to treat a woman. All of us girls know who the thanks goes to...Mom! Well, most of the time anyway.

LOL bykerdave... Especially The incarcerated ones in for murder.. lol.. Really put a damper on that relationship....

HA! that almost made me spit my drink out!
i hate it when people are rude to waiters/waitresses. they are servers not servants. on one really bad date, the woman i was with was completely rude and degrading to the waitress that was helping us. she continued to be rude even after i had said something to her about it. i finally got up, payed the bill, gave the waitress $20 for her troubles, and informed my date that she was being left. my date was silent, the waitress giggled and that was that.
Don't disappoint Jade with some ridiculous half-truth of any sort. Just hang your head and say it:
"Yes, honey, it was me who cleaned the house."
"OK, I confess, I washed your car."
"I'm sorry, but I was the one who sent you those flowers for no reason at all."
She's a sweet girl...she won't be too hard on you! Will you Jade??
We love you guys!
Thank you HarleyGurl You were making me laugh tonight!!! Bear is the sweet one from all that honey he eats LOL! He's a good boy! Im very easy going and I won't be hard on him at all he will have no worries !
I would say that lying is definately the biggest turn off for me. I am a psychic/medium (hence the name pawitchywoman) and I will always know or find out. A gift and a curse all at the same time I tell ya.
The spitting thing is definately disgusting but not a deal breaker here in "Pennsyltucky"--just don't get it on me M*F*. LOL
I like to have fun with guys who talk endlessly about themselves by throwing wierd stuff into the conversation and see how fast they turn it around to them. (Ok, I am easily amused.)
For me (and this may seem too picky to some) but if a guy has a whiney voice I just can't take it. Makes me want to scream. So I guess I always prefer to speak to a man about a date, that way I can hear his voice.
Bad table manners are a huge turn off.......when someone is chewing with their mouth open when food is still in their mouth is just nasty! It makes me ill. Also, holding the fork like a cave man and burping at the table is gross!! Have a little class guys.
