Hey speedy, I met a gal in Sturgis this year, brought her home with me, almost 2 months now and we are happy, she rides a fat boy, well 2 of them now, we just went and got the rest of her stuff in Florida, lifes short, ride hard!
Update Jerry, she got a job in Tenn. and hit the road, oh well had a few good times together, no regretes...

Good for ya'll! The millions of dollars and hours I spent on assorted "Date Site's" may have finally payed off for me this time ( maybe ), cautiously optomistic. I was semi sort of temporarily devastated earlier this year after a little fling with a local gal I met at work and took to BikeWeek. This gal is getting closer to my heart every day, she's my idea of a Woman and potential Partner for Life.

Is 8 1/2 inches long enough?

It is never too long. lol
Seriously, we all change. No one can speculate or predict what will happen or how you will feel in the future. I would guess that the best thing is too always respect and care for one another, listen to what is being said, be faithful and hopefully the rest will take care of itself. The grass always looks greener, but that too passes.
Go read that old classic "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance." Remember the "dripping faucet".
    Peace!!!!!
    Good luck.

Dang, Jerry. Knowing a few of those you've met this year I wouldn't say that statement reeks of not burning bridges. By the way.....how many gators can that thing jump at a time (and no, not with a passenger). Keep the shiny side up, Jerry, and don't be transferrin' no road rash onto her skin.

After many years of observation I have come to this conclusion. A couple in love stand the same chance of staying married after knowing each other a week as a couple that's known each other fifteen years. People change, circumstances change, chit happens so wtf?.

Jerry glad to see a women turning you soft.
I would say whether an instant or 15 years what keeps it working is remembering what started it all and nurturing that spark laying beneath all the years and events and always keeping that candle lit in the window of your eye so you both never fail to see the great beautiful presence of mystery in each others company and know without a doubt with the wind tunnel or without she and you are meant to be and nothing is going to be allowed to sneak in the cracks. No wobbling, no shimming and no breaking you go for that horizon that curvature in the earth and you never look back and you never regret because that is the moment something will enter your road. So keep your heart open, keep your eyes on what is important and keep that passionate throttle full open.
Peace in the wind speedy boy a hundred miles an hour is good enough for me and 25mph with my girl is a million miles an hour inside.

Hard to find women that like these bikes at first especially up here ussuly like you said they had a punk do wheelie or stoppie with them on it so they don't want nothing to do with it anymore. And well i'm mostly in Cruiser country 2 sportbikes in my town and i own both of them Well Keep it on 2 wheels and enjoy the parter man Hopeing to find someone myself in the future Riding solo is kinda a drag sometimes

Geez Jerr, sounds to me like if someone isn't cute and perfect weight, you really don't want anything to do with them, good or not. Am I right? Seeing men like you express themselves makes me glad I'm single and can ignore chits like you.

That's why we come in all different sizes and shapes lady, just like motorcycles do. I don't want a Big V-Twin or a Big Woman, I buy trucks not cars, I like Miller Lite not Bud Light, I use 93 octane in my lawn mower not regular. Life is full of choices all of us have to make everyday. Thank you for this reply as it makes it easy to understand why you are single and what kind a gal you are. If your'e glad to ignore me then why did you reply?, that's not ignoring me very well.

ahhh fast dont mind him he not normal....jerry are you?Yes we all have our own taste and there nothing wrong witht hat either.Just as long as we don't put down others....respect.

Well, I guess you think that's important. To each his own, but yuh know amigo, I've never seen anyone outrun the grim dude with the scythe.
Just hope that when (and yes, I said "when", not if) you go down you have the decency to not take her with you.

Uh huh and you are absolutely certain that no tires will blow out or that the chain won't break or that nothing will dart out in front of you.

I can't say that I ride responsibly all the time, as I too enjoy the risks of a windy mountain road, but I never intentionally do anything that might endanger the passenger.

Jerry life is all about risk and taking chances, it has no warranties or guarantees. Lost my love after 15 yrs. in a blink of an eye, without notice. God takes his ANGELS in a flash. So treasure each day as it is your last. Just live life to its fullest and embrace what it throws at you. Whatever the circumstances may be.
