You're right Roxie. A Christian should not judge or condemn. But unfortunately it's not a sin to judge.

I see a lot of judging not by just one on this thread. A little tolerance is good for the soul.

Where sin abounds, Grace does more abound,a Christian SHOULD extend the same mercy and grace to his fellow man instead of condemmimg. But the truth remains...One day we will stand before the Lord face to face, there will be a Judgement Day.God is loving but He is also Holy. He first came to earth as a baby in a very humble way, but when he returns, He will come back on a white horse bearing the name "King of Kings and Lord of Lords". I want to be a part of those he is comming back for to spend eternity in Heaven. Much Love!

psironman422 I can see your making friends over here on this tread too! Rogue take it easy on him. He is just running off at the mouth with information that someone has poured into his head. What a shame. Remember psironman422, god is in everything and listens to you?re arrogates every time you open your mouth. If you?re shooting for a place in heaven you better reevaluate your thoughts.

" As surely as I live,' says the Lord 'every knee will bow beforeme; every tongue confess to God.'" So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God. Romans 14:11 and 12

my 2 cents on this subject

we can argue till the cows come home!!!! and never get to the same point

my father was an irish catholic--my mom's dad was a southern baptist minister in the navy we were raised lutheran

the one thing i remember most of all from my mom, which came from her dad--because he had to minister to ALL faiths in the navy

NO RELIGION IS BETTER THAN ANY OTHER AS LONG AS WE LIVE TO THE FULLEST WHAT WE BELIEVE

religion has been the reason for many wars and many mass exterminations

sooooooooo those who profess to be true christains acceptance of others is the way jesus lived

and as i have said before it is easy to talk the talk--the challange is to walk the walk

love and peace to all

OK< here goes the firefight.

Catchme, I'm not angry about the bible, it's just a book.

psironman, yeah, I AM a rogue, don't like it, too bad, I'm not here to win a popularity contest. Don't like Maryland, don't go there.

What I am angry about is people who don't know me presuming that they can tell me how I should live my life.

Thanks ironman for having my back! Part of the beauty of living in America is freedom of choice and speech. I would never beat someone over the head with my bible, I believe actions speak louder than words, but I also know that one day we will meet the Lord face to face and when asked if we accepted or refused His son Jesus, I want to say I accepted Him and live the rest of eternity in Heaven and not elsewhere, Be blessed!!

wow lotta different opinions here.some seem angry at others beliefs. I believe in what i chose to believe in and if works for me and helps me then so be it.Each of us has different beliefs. which whats makes us who we are..
i find those that have such strong opinions and are angry are simply displacing their anger else where.. knowledge of what is stated on what page of the bible does not mean anything to me-- HOW U ACT and what u do speaks of wht u believe in. Rouge curious as to why u are so angry about bible..

this is the first time i read this post, i hate to pass judgement...as for the bible---i wasn't living in thoes times-with their views of life or their existance of life---so how can we judge why someone beleived like they did, we were not there-it worked for them, so be it---i can only judge a higher power in this time we live in....we always seem to condem God, or higher powers---i don't think the question should be where was god when this happened or why he let it happened....we should ask "where the hell was man", and why did we let this happen....there are alot of unexplainable things that happen, and is it god, a higher power?....i don't know---i just like it when it happens, and just say thank-you..............hummmmmmmmm

Always remember those who were the most righteous and had all the sacred text(it wasn't until the printing press that the bible was available to more than a select few) were the very ones who judged Christ and condemned him to death.
So in your righteous judgement of others you are participating in the crime that crucified your saviour.
"forgive them for they know not what they do."

"the wise will be made foolish and the foolish wise..."

It is not in my job description as a Christian to pass judgement.

I have to back up Rogue on this one. Because what I believe is outside of the accepted norm, does NOT make it/me wrong/evil. To each his own. To me, what you believe is unacceptable to me.

Hey Rogue,
IT IS NOT ABOUT BENDING THE KNEE.......
It's real simple...
Just knowing there is a power out there greater then YOU!
Could YOU handle that ot not?

Roxie, keep this mind, I have not, nor will I ever bend my knee to ANYONE or ANYTHING.

You believe as you will and I'll support your right to do so with my last breath. But do NOT presume to tell me who I serve.

i myself don't understand the bible, love some of the stories, but i will admit i do like the beatitudes the best--to me they are what i need, everyone needs something different, and 100 people could read the same sentance and come out with 100 different answers, because we all need different things at different times, i've seen bibles destroy people and also seen it safe people...its just personnal choice, and depends on our needs.....now i dont know if this made any sence, but to me it does.......lmso....is this good or bad?

Rouge,
Everyman man serves a master, he will love one and hate the other. If you're not serving God, then you're serving the other wheter you've made a conscious choice to do so or not. One day every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord!! I trust you are well and will continue to seek answers to your questions.....
