I was not coming down on any one it goes back to the "iof it's not broken don't fix it." PMS takes perfectly working equipment and fixes it sometimes to it's detrement. I served for 20 years and I have lost friends to all the ravages of diesese brought on by service.
I stand behind everyone in the service doing their job. I do not support all of the missions that the administration has gotten us into.
I am a proud to have served and support all those that are serving and have served and will serve in the future.
chessie----yea, i totally agree, they (vets), got such a raw deal on so many things...i realize they choose-or had it choosen for them-but to many promises were broken to them....it's just my pet peive i guess....my heart just goes out to them.....
bea... I am glad you are the one standing on the side of our vets... there are things out there that need our attention, and the treatment of our vets... by their own government, stands out there for me like a heron sitting on my fish pond getting ready to eat my coi fish...
The guys who lost their health, their limbs, their sense of sight, smell, touch, have aquired skin problems, mental problems, have lung difficulties... all of the terrible things that happen to our men and women while in the service of our country... and are not addressed... by the gorvernment that promised them so much as idealized young people and has given them so little as they age.
This is the battle I choose to fight...
It's the one that is closest to my heart at the moment.
Chessie
Oh and sorry to make this such a soapbox statement... I just had to say it.
