Walk right in? I would feel silly if I had to sit a*t the bar all night while everyone else was outside. Nothing worse than standing alone being stared a*t.

Hey Nodey, honest, I do think you'll be stared a*t. A lot. But I'm also positive that you won't be standing alone, a*t least not for more than a minute. All you'll have to do to start a conversation is clear your throat. The only thing I can see you needing a sidekick for is to help you choose between the guys who want your attention. I like the women who have the fortitude to do things without an entourage, and I think biker women have that, don't they?

Focus on the fun you'll have, not on the discomfort you might feel. Decide you'll stay for 1/2 hr whether you like it or not, then leave if you don't like it. You can do anything for 1/2 hr, can't you?

Wowzer! I had a friend come visit me and we went to Bike Night here in Nashville. My first time going, because all of my friends don't share the riding interest that I do.
Talk about lots of h*ot single men! My only problem now is I have no one to brave the waters with me.

Any suggestions how I go about going to bike night alone?

Are you kidding? Walk right in, you won't be alone for long.

I'm sorry, I just can't see that happening. I could be wrong, but I will tell you this: you wouldn't be sitting alone a-t a bar in NY for long!

Hey Harleychick,

Thanks but I'm staying away from the Ironhorse - (there always dead) - you must have just run into some out of town bikers there. Cops are giving tickets to bikers that go there. so just beware next time you go there.

OK ladies, let me try to help you out here. The nautical mile in Freeport is good a t just about anytime (day/night) on the weekend, and on week nights as well, but closes down a t night earlier than most places. gilgo beach on a Sunday afternoon is also very cool, complete with bar & live music on the beach. Maples has been a lil slow this year, or a t least the times I've been out there. Juggs is Juggs, as we all know. I've been to Ironhorse 4 times, and driven by more than that, and as I've said before, it's a ghost town. Radio Grille is always hoppin on Wednesday nights, with a t least 75 bikes, and also live music. Don't forget Greenport on Sundays as well, which comes with a nice LONG ride. You guys aren't tourists....you should know where to go. You may want to keep this in mind though, you aren't in Kansas anymore, and there aren't many real cowboys on LI. Lots that ride steel horses though.
