You know I missed that "class in life" to, the one that said, when you're alone you can't have fun, laugh or love people. Being alone for a while, is like the drive home after along trip, finally there's no one there to interupt your thoughts, time may pass slowly, but atleast you know where you're going. Chkn
Don't be so sure about it...sometimes I get so alone in my thoughts, I miss my damn exit...Chit..
Yeah but, just maybe the next one might be a "clover leaf" and you can run it a couple times, if there's no cops around..
NORTY write: Interesting how the guys noticed you are on a track. Of course, the track will mandate a full helmet, full leathers and boots. I'm surprised they allowed you on with the tennis shoes. Don't worry about how you "look" on the track. Just work on technique.
You are so right there. they other track days here. They require more than just leathers gloves and boots....the bike has to pass an inspection also.
This track tho has been closed to bikes. My club has been working with them to open it up to us. They're watching us closely. I'm sure soon it will be coming up to speed like all the others. We have our own medics in my club, so we don't need an ambulance on site. But I think that to will have to change. Mean while this old man, will test his bike with the air walks......Cause I don't think If it's my time to go. I don't think it's gonna be from a stubbed toe..LOL

Goobr write: Okay, I gotta ask the "guy" question. Hey man,,, what track were you at? Jennings? ZX-6?
Jennings? I can only wish. This track was built a few years ago, for racing/testing 3/4 size formula cars. It's called Coopers Park, it's located just south of the 75/275 interchange. It's nothing like jennings, stickly low speed. You'll never get above 3rd in the turns and maybe top out 4th on the straights. But every thing on your bike better be tight.
My club decided it was better to ask to use the track. Rather than what we were doing, sneaking in w/the bikes when it was closed.LOL!!! The owners worked with us for over a year and finally invited us there for our tech day. Go to the seductivecycles web site, click on the "forum" then the "meets and greats" there's some vidio of some of the members on the track. (To save you some time. Just go to page 5 or 6 of that thread.) The course we ran was about a mile and a half, better bring some good low speed skills tho, you will be draggin knee.
My club is working to get to use the track every month. SO Shhhhh, it's a secret. It won't be advertised, if you'd like to go there, all is welcome, but we want to keep the numbers down.
