Went to the MD. yesterday . He had sent me for blood work on Friday, and wanted to see if I was having any effect from the hepC treatments. His thinking was if it wasn't working it would be best to discontinue it....

My viril load is gone! it is undetectable!!!

I had a 7 million plus virile load 4 months ago! After onl two months of treatment it is gone! I will still have to finish the treament plan (another 8 months of having severe flu like symptoms...) but WTF .....
Will celebrate just like yesterday and ride ride ride..in fact it is what I have planned for the next 5 days!!!

CG,
Sorry to hear of that, the loss of a child is something no parent should ever have to endure.
Hugs to you.

Welcome divad, desrtgrl, and cowboywayne! Was a great weekend here in SE Texas. I didn't go very far, but still managed to get in around 5oo miles of Freedom! I too can feel myself being rocketed into the 4th dimention when I'm in the wind! My connection with "DAD" just seems to flow so freely when I leave behind the earthly restraints by headin out into the wind. I'm facing some challenges right now, but thank God for page 68 - "Just to the extent that I do as I think he would have me do and hunbly rely on him, does he enable me to match calamity with serenity"
It's an awesome day to be alive!

I'd like to correct a statement I made in a previous entry I made in this forum. I typed that I had/have 40 years of riding experience.....well that would mean I would of had to start riding at about 10 years old & at first I thought that it was obsurd to think that but then as I was typing this I realized I was riding a mini bike at about 10-11 years old so maybe I hadn't lied after all......LOL Does a mini bike count???

Hi,
.... and the moon is the headlight?
"We sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out."

And for me the best place to do the above is on my bike!

Welcome divad and desert girl!

WOW! For the second time in my life I feel as though I have stumbled into a place that feels like home! The first time was on Nov 13, 1993 when I walked into AA. Where I live (about 100 miles NE of Houston) I haven't been able to find a good group of sober riders yet. All the group rides seem to center around riding from one bar to the next. I usually watch for the charity rides which usually stay away from the bars. That and I mostly ride solo. I'm not worried about going in the bars (I have done it on several occasions over the years for various reasons) I just don't like making a habit out going there. My first sponsor always told me "If you hang out in a barbershop long enough, sooner or later you'll wind up with a haircut." I'm new here and definately intend to return.

Hi all you beautiful, diseased people!
And congratulations to all the birthday celebrators out there!!! I'll be sharing one with y'all this Saturday w/ 5 months. Would have been 3 years this June, but I F'd up on resentments. Got a good sponser now that knows when I need a kick in the pants and found more meetings where I moved. My brothers in arms back home still check on me too. So...I have a good foundation this time workin' my steps.

I always ride sober. There is a nice outdoor biker bar around here and a few bikers left liquored up and never made it home.

Howdy, I am new here & plan to upgrade soon as I can. I have been riding for Almost 40 years & have 21 years Of clean riding, very simply that would not be possible if I was cruzin & boozin. I could just see myself going down the road on my shoulder, Ouch.....
only rode Drunk a few times. I am very excited to have found this amazing site. Guess I don't have to worry about being asked to sell my Scooter(MC).
I love to tell funny stories which are true about my past only way I can deal with the bad decisions I have made LOL. being asked to sell my Bike wasn't funny.....of course I said NO!!!!

Well this weekend kicked off with the Frost your nuts run, its the first run of the season and the last one is "freeze your Nuts". This year had 4000 bikers, alot more then the last year which was 2000.

I don't do it, because its a lot of small stops at bars and trust me there are a few deaths and lots of accidents. They drink and ride.

I'm so glad I am sober and I dont have to participate in that. No matter if I don't drink a drunk riding is not going to protect me.

I have a good amount of sober bikers and we ride the roads around them and while they stop and drink we go and go and go. Ahhhhhhhhhhh do I love this season.

Be Safe and ride Safe

hugs
jj
