With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person, which almost went unnoticed last week.
Larry LaPrise, the man who wrote "The Hokey Pokey" died peacefully at age 93. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in.
And then the trouble started.

I'm not afraid of dying, but I'd rather not be there when it happens.

I was looking for some funny yet profound statement about death & dying, but I found this instead.

And take note of who quoted this...

"Whenever I watch TV and see those poor starving kids all over the world, I can't help but cry. I mean I'd love to be skinny like that but not with all those flies and death and stuff."
-Mariah Carey.

Sorry Blu. Just thought this was cute. Glad you all enjoyed.

Nodey..loved it..told my kids tonight at our combo bday party..
Started it out all sad..used to take them skating and we did the hokey pokey..the oldest, 25 tomorrow, is really emotional, always was, took me 3 days to console her when she ran over a bird last year (actually it was an ostrich, kind of hard to just run over one and she left it for dead and came home..but that's another thread)..but anyway...you get the idea, she was getting upset..then I threw in the rest..thought she was gonna chase me out of my own house and down the street..lmao....we had fun.

I swear when I look at your pics, I have a hard time believing you have a 25 yr old. Glad you enjoyed.
