I'm half GREEK on my Mother's side, easy Eye, I know you're bitin your tongue on that one, and French canadien/English ob my Dad's side. Even had a direct descendant on the Mayflower.

And for those of you who don't know, that would be pronounced "Shah-L'OAT." Kinda like "Shalom" but with a "T." The first time I was ever down there and met some of the locals I thought they were from England. What a strange accent to find here in the South!

I guessed mountains because I read a book on the history of this state and it said that most of the original mountain settlers were Scotch, Irish, and a few Germans thrown in for good measure.
