If you were given your 'perfect day', a full 24 hours, how would it be...describe it for us.
Spur of the moment question..don't have an answer myself yet, but I will sleep on it.
My perfect day would be for the rest of the world to understand that it is the LOVE of motorcycling and HD (or your favorite brand...to each his own)that give us passion and pleasure, not that we want to be "bad". It would be cool if they could be lucky enough to experience being "windblown" and the journey, much less the comrodery of us as BIKERS.
My perfect day would be cruising through the Tail of The Dragon with my pal on the back screaming her ass off around every corner. Thank god for full face helmets!..........................

It came true!
Bigbear2000 write: My perfect day, happened about two months ago. I had never lived in this area or even visited here, before moving here nine months ago. While looking through the white pages, I found a name I recognised, but couldn't believe it was true. I called and verified that my last remaining uncle lived less than five miles from me. This was a man I had grown up with, as his mother ( my grandmother)raised me. I had not seen nor heard from him in over twenty years and had no idea where he was. Now I see him every day and after many years of being on the road, I finally have family again. : )
BigBear, you're right! You've had your perfect day! I'm so very happy for you! May God and all the powers that be bless you and your's! Peace, Brother!!!

TNBrowneyes write: Thanks Angel & Jade. Yeah, I believe they know. I will be forever grateful that I WAS the last one to see them all alive & the very last thing I said to my daughter was "I love you". I feel them with me everyday. One thing I learned though was never pass up the opportunity to tell those special to you that they are because sometimes, "tomorrow never comes". I even tell my other grandsons that have come along since then all about their cousins so they will know them too.
I'm lucky, Tn..my son is the spitting image of his dad, and he will be here for a week long visit with me this coming Sat! I am SOOOOOO siked! lol Having Cole around is like having Rick beside me again! The same laugh, the same stance, the same beautiful blue eyes! OMG! So I guess, in a way, I do get to spend time with Rick ...just through proxy with our son...thank you God!

TNBrowneyes write: My perfect day really doesn't have anything to do with bikes but, it would be........just one more day with my daughter & grand kids. One more time to tell them I love them. One more time to hear them call me "mamaw". That would be a perfect day for me. But then I would have to say goodbye again. Guess it is better left to memories.
ahh Tennessee Very Touched !!!! Im sure they Know that already.
DakotaBlu write: The perfect day? A ride to no-where just once more with my ol man... and the opportunity to say "good bye" this time.......... Love & Respect PTG...R.I.P... xo
Nothing could compare to that one, what a beautiful thought. I'm sure he's with you EVERY time you go riding Hun.
I guess my perfect day would be to find someone to love me like that.
God bless you DB, they don't make many like you any more.
Seeking_You write: Awaken on a warm Spring day, the birds whistling and chirping away, the breeze and the smell of Spring whisking through open windows...
Last night's "she" sleeping next to me, her body only partially covered by a top sheet. A kiss on her belly, a stroke of her hair, she moves only slightly eyes still closed, rising satisfaction within me for last night's love affaire.
Coffee and meat, some music while polishing the bike. Once more I'm in with my lover, her eyes open, smiling bright. Fire up the Harley, shudder the walls around me - WAKE UP WORLD, WAKE UP!!
Click, first gear, adjust the throttle for the ride. Down the first stretch, the smell of warm Spring air comes alive. 'Round mountains and valleys, 'cross meadows and streams, off the bike and we're swimming a lake, wearing nothing under our jeans.
Laying in the meadow, Zeppelin on the tunes, her head on my chest, we're snoozing at noon...
READ YOUR THOUGHTS..WAS IT AS GOOD FOR YOU AS IT WAS FOR ME????
