I started flying kites last spring when I was in San Diego. I was scheduled to be there for 3 weeks and didn't bring my bike with me from Washington. It turned out to be a 3 month trip and a co-worker invited me to fly some of his kites and I WAS HOOKED! After a few hours of crashing the Revolution (quad line stunt kite) I was able to keep it in the air and a week later I bought my own. Some of the kites are pretty expensive; however, once you make your initial investment the wind is free.

I love to dance...and dance...and dance..but only to live music really..blues mostly, rock blues, classic blues, blues blues....any blues..but I'll dance to anything...
I started as an outlet for energy (pent up energy), still have some of that, just a "different" kind of pent up energy, but now it I consider it a form of exercise for myself too, but I love it.

Wow Paw! Nice lamp!!
I love to go antiquing,
Cut: Nice rack hon! hehe. I was supposed to go to Alaska to bag my first rack (and a bunch of alaskan fish) back in Oct. Maybe next year.
Jeeze, Spadoman, I would love to do woodworking in your shop and hang out, chatting about the good stuff.
Ok- Reiki,(2nd level), photography, and boy, would I love to go out right now, this second and dance to the blues!
I am sitting here in my red bathrobe, at 4 a.m. Eastern time, so guess I will have to take a 'raincheck' from myself! hehe

Raising 3 kids alone, I couldn't get out much when they were younger so I began to write. Here's one..

I have been se*ually abused
I still stand
I have been rap3d
I still stand
I have been beaten
I still stand
I am a daughter
I am a sister
I am an aunt
I am a mother
I am a woman
I cry
I scream
I smile
I laugh
I love
I am who I am
I still stand
tall and proud
I am strong
I am smart
I am beautiful
I still stand

Writing was a great venue to release many things and get through some long nights. They're older now. I have more time. I like to travel, work around my house, ski, see shows in the city or AC, I love music. Anything outdoors, nothing like fresh air. I live by the beach so that's a given and of course..I love being in the wind.

Geez it won't let me use certain words

Pawitchywoman, Nice lamp. I also like to find unique treasures and some I sell on ebay. I just bought a pole lamp from the 60's for $2.00 and it sold for $87.50!!

The lamp in your picture, is it a Tiffany lamp? worth a lot. Surprised it sat in the window for so long. I travel a lot and when I go back to some places, even after a year or longer, I see certain things still in the windows, I want to ask the owners how they can afford to hold onto that stuff for so long.

mare later about the antiques, see ya
