hey Bowzer that's one cool hobby !! when I was young my uncle would come pick me up on Sunday and take me to New England Dragway in Epping NH .. I saw John Force before he was a big name , T.V Tommy Ivo crashed big time one day there. I enjoy all motorsports and drag racing is right up top. Congrats on winning your title !! looks like a Mustang F/C there ? keep up the good work dude..
I started flying kites last spring when I was in San Diego. I was scheduled to be there for 3 weeks and didn't bring my bike with me from Washington. It turned out to be a 3 month trip and a co-worker invited me to fly some of his kites and I WAS HOOKED! After a few hours of crashing the Revolution (quad line stunt kite) I was able to keep it in the air and a week later I bought my own. Some of the kites are pretty expensive; however, once you make your initial investment the wind is free.

I started as an outlet for energy (pent up energy), still have some of that, just a "different" kind of pent up energy, but now it I consider it a form of exercise for myself too, but I love it.

Raising 3 kids alone, I couldn't get out much when they were younger so I began to write. Here's one..
I have been se*ually abused
I still stand
I have been rap3d
I still stand
I have been beaten
I still stand
I am a daughter
I am a sister
I am an aunt
I am a mother
I am a woman
I cry
I scream
I smile
I laugh
I love
I am who I am
I still stand
tall and proud
I am strong
I am smart
I am beautiful
I still stand
Writing was a great venue to release many things and get through some long nights. They're older now. I have more time. I like to travel, work around my house, ski, see shows in the city or AC, I love music. Anything outdoors, nothing like fresh air. I live by the beach so that's a given and of course..I love being in the wind.

Pawitchywoman, Nice lamp. I also like to find unique treasures and some I sell on ebay. I just bought a pole lamp from the 60's for $2.00 and it sold for $87.50!!
The lamp in your picture, is it a Tiffany lamp? worth a lot. Surprised it sat in the window for so long. I travel a lot and when I go back to some places, even after a year or longer, I see certain things still in the windows, I want to ask the owners how they can afford to hold onto that stuff for so long.
Riding, Riding, Riding... oh, okay...non motorcycle... Music (ZZ Top to Aerosmith to Lorenna McKennit), Dancing (and yes, I will get on the floor by myself if you don't wanna dance with me, lol), Writing and Teaching Reiki, and even though I'm lousy at sitting still for very long... Meditation practices.
