Thanks Robert, I think between all of us...this will be a great weekend!

    Lets make it simple:

    For Turkey day:
    *RSVP required
*$5.00 per person for food, if it is more we will let you know.
*Have a deep fryer for turkeys, bring it?
    *Can you bake pies? HELP!
*Pot luck...bring food, and do not pay.
BUT let me know what you are bringing.

    For the Weekend
*Very limited space in my house...ladies only and first come first get.
*Plenty of places for your tents...bathrooms are an issue
*KOA one mile down the road
*Bug Hostel three miles up the road
*Hotels in town, want to share room here for that.
    *Guys...Empty backside? Let us know.
*Ladies, need a ride? Let us know
*May have to hook up for rides from here, and not from home.

    *Can I bring my kids?
***Yeah, but they are your responsiblity, and remember, we are rural...there is no real entertainment, like kids are used to. There is a skate park in Mariposa. My 19 year old son will be here and Rose's 18 year old daughter will be here, neither babysit.

    *What can I bring?
***Right now you tell me what you want to bring and for how many. I will keep track and later if we are lacking I will let you know what we are low on.
    ***Bring you favorite CD
***We have one dart board, if you want to bring so.
***We also have a rustic horseshoe pit, but if you have a favorite group activity or game, and want to share, bring it.
***Seating is on the ground, on straw bails and on crude log benches. If that will not work, bring your own seat.

    Question for you...
***Several have mentioned wanting a least for one much is it worth to you. Bands up here are around $300 to $500 a night. I need to know, before I try to get much each of you will cough up for one. There are a couple of local bars that may have music, will check, but that requires Designated Drivers. Talk to me, this is your party!

Thanks for the invitation. Sounds like a good time.

I'll be trucking up my bike from San Diego. Have room for 4 more bikes - if anyone else wants a lift going North.

The Wild Turkeyfest is on!!! WOOOHOOOO!

This is a combined effort between Mountaintrouble/Mt.Rose/SecretSquirrel and myself. My contribution is to help get the word out as well as offer my services with planning and food as much as I usual, the ladies are doing the bulk of the work, bless their hearts.

Let's spread the word and make this a great Turkeyfest - especially for all those who don't have family to share the holiday with.

    Starting a new topic...
We had a great turn out for our first party off the mountain...but it was a real bear to get the word out...want a central place to post just for if you are having a party/ride/meet and greet.. and want to invite those BK people from CA...or from here...we can keep a watch on this site...and hopefully in time the word will get around and we can all meet and get to know each other in person.

    *****Wild Turkeyfest on the Moutain*****
You are all house...Thanksgiving weekend. We will do the whole bird thing...and although we have tons of wild turkeys up will be the market grown stuff we will be serving. If you are going to be without family...or not able to be with yours this year...come on up. We will need an RSVP with this one. We also want to let you know that we will need you to pay your share of the meal. It should not be more than $10 each. me with the RSVP and I will give more info. We are planning to ride and party where we can find music. Early throw in any thrown my way...and I will look into it, is to see if a local bike club is going to do a charity run....that we could be a major part of. What are your ideas. Oh...if you are busy turkey day...but want to come up later...that works. I have 5 a tent. Inside is for ladies only...and that space is first come first have. Bathrooms are a problem. I also have a 6 person tent trailer...KOA is less than a mile and there is a bug hostil about 3 miles up the moutain. Tons of motels in town. Anyway...lets talk....
