Ok girls!! Enough of that crap!!! I luv ya all enough to set you straight!!! Knock it off with letting those pics come into your mind and dwell there!!

The truth is... Some have it worse and some have it better!!

Stinkin thinkin like this (I'm guilty too) can send you to dark places that you may not come back from.

"Don't Feed The Monsters!!"

Stay "rebellious" to your demons and pull your faith from your friends.. Its not ok to travel to some places in our minds.. Those roads can lead us to destruction, that's why God made U Turns!!

You both are strong and you know what that does to you!! Stop it, Right now!!

Ok SweetPea you got something good to say. Now all I need to do is listen to you and rid the mind of the demons. You see, I had three daughters, one will never return home for Christmas, Birthdays, Holidays of any kind. It's hard to forget, so we play at nonsense to help us forget our losses.
All of you, thanks for being there when we need a laugh or need to change the reality from sadness to laughter.
I like to feel I'm there for any of you who need it too.

Peace

This post struck me personally Kin. I just want to tell you that I truly understand how you feel...I am not seeing my daughter for yet another year due to some underhandedness by a step-mother (you have heard of cinderella?) I am living it!

Even though I am used to not seeing my daughter very much..an arrow shoots through my heart every holiday and then throughout the year the pain dulls only to be shot at again the next year opening a fresh wound...it's always in a different spot.

Your son is an absolute doll...I'm sure he is going to miss you too....

Dont we all just dream of that "family atmosphere" fireplace, Christmas tree, all the family gathered round, you and your honey happy, looking at your kids and maybe grandkids presents all around.......then a semi truck comes plowing through your house.

Dyna,
You Rock!
A pleasure having coffee with you. The mind sure can be a scary place to go alone at 4 in the am. hehe, funny guy.

K, TY for being here to share in all the fun. My son is 19, and is working very long hours for the holidays. He has a lot of obligations: His g'friend and her family, his dad, grand-pa, and friends. I will be home, and hopefully riding with friends. Doc is flying out on x'mas day and we will be missing all our loved ones, but I am sure we will find things to laugh about.

Good Morning
One thing that is tuff about travelin is the time changes...it's 4:30 here in LA and I am-up-an-at-em..because my body is on boston time so I get to have coffee and think..a lot. Let me tell ya I get a little afraid of goin in my mind alone...
Anyway I remember the first time Sara wanted to visit her Mom's on Christmas ... she was 15 and Mom lived in Florida. Of course I wanted to be supportive...it's her Mom for cryin'out loud...but Sara and I had never been apart for a holiday...geez... I put her on the plane and prepared for a lousy holiday... Christmas eve the whole clan always meets at my sister Colleen's house. My brother Jim (the one with no neck) puts on the Santa suit for the kids and we eat and enjoy...kinda Waltonish...it's ok that we do that once a year ya know... well after that I headed home for a nite of self pity.
When I arrived my buddy Jack was sitting out front...I told him before that Sara was goin to Florida...well Ol' Jack had a different idea. He told me to get in the car...and took me to Foxwoods..yep Foxwoods...Christmas eve in the Casino...no lines..brite lites and people..yes people.. Well we won a little money...and stayed there for free. What a great nite..yes I was sad and missed my daughter...but sad was appropriate...depressed and alone was not. Thank God for friends...ya know?
I don't have too many of them...but the ones I do...I cherish...yep cherish.
Thanks for lettin a travelin man share coffee with youz.

Hey "K" in Monmouth County

You got to burn some late night oil to get in on all the fun. Sorry you missed the pic fest.

Tou're right, lot's of fun for the takin' here. All anyone needs is a sense of humor and a thick enough skin to let the bad stuff bounce back into the givers face.

Speakin' of face, nice photo change :o)
