Why are some of the men even on this site? I won,t say names but wish I could to warn some ladies that are seriously looking for the right 1. I met a man (as I choke to say man) everything was awsome, the rides, the fun we had, etc.. then without a word he was gone... no calls no messages nothing.. finally made contact with him.. his answer? LOL "I liked you to much so I got scared and ran" (so we slowed it down to no communication at all) so anyways if your profile says your looking for LTR, then why do you blow us off when everything is good? I won,t lose sleep over this man but it sure has me confused..

I'm still a bit new to this site....LOL.....but finding this to be quite true.....feeling confused....and wondering if maybe I should just forget this whole on-line dating site thing....LOL.....but I have to have faith that there are some great men out there...who won't "disappear".....and can still be real :)

You are right, this is a dating site not a chapel! But I do agree with you if you are looking for one night stands rent is cheap if you know what I mean. No sense screwing with someones feelings.

he may have been looking for something he didn't see in you. he
may not want to come out & say so . he may not want to hurt your feelings or may not even know why he didn't keep coming back.

It may sound like an easy question to answer, but I guess it's not. I can only speak for myself, but the reason I'm here is to find a woman to share my life with. I don't run, I don't complicate things with drama or games. Those who do sometimes have a good reason but don't communicate well, or at all. How was the communication in the beginning with this guy? I've been fortunate in my past long-term relationships that I had women who were very open and honest with their feelings. I have also had a few who were not. It's not just the guys. I think the important thing to remember here is, don't go down with the bat on your shoulder. He threw you a curve ball and you swung and missed. That doesn't mean that the next pitch isn't going to a be a strike that you'll hit over the fence! (thought a baseball analogy would work this time of year...lol). We can't love right every time...or even half the time. But when it works, it's so fantastic that we forget about all the misses. So stay in there ready to swing, just choose your pitches more carefully. It makes a lot of difference between striking out and hitting a homer. I do wish you all good luck with it.
