can you believe I actually went out with a guy one time who ordered turtle soup right in front of me...geesh!

He ordered WHAT!!???? The nerve of some folks! That's like ordering Angel Food Cake or worse yet Devil's Chocolate, in front of me...well, that is, and not offering me a bite I mean....

I know when I was out there last year working the hurricanes in the Avon Park/seebring area I found people to be very honest-sincere. I even went to an indoor flea market/trade center and was surprised that people just got what they wanted and were trusted to go to the cashier and pay on the way out. You couldn't trust people to do that here-they'd rob the place blind.Daytona/Ormond were my favorite spots. Check out Boot Hill Saloon in Daytona if you can-GREAT juke box/sound system and kick back and laugh atmosphere-main street.Oh yeah-and Casadaga(near Deland-west of Daytona)is the most unusual place I've ever experienced-worth taking a walk through.
