Hey Doc, add another 100 lbs cause it's a Heritage Softail Springer. Though I still surprise a few squids when I show 'em my tailight through the twisties, they don't expect it from a bagger, but that's why my floorboards are now knife edge. I been thinkin' of going with the lowrider trick of magnesium and stuff for sparks at night. And SJ, it WILL get 115 when the air gets dense down around 40 F. lol

yes they will--been on a classic at those speeds (on the back)
so they will get out of the way when need be--the cruiser style bike is soooooo much more comfortable than the sport bikes

I reckon that depends on how big, I mean what shape your hiney is.

speedy--my butttttt was fine--it was uncomfortable for my knees

i rode all day a good 12 hrs on a cruiser without the same issues

Yes Dear, generally speaking most Sportbikes aren't passenger friendly, there's a few models like mine that are bigger and have a real rear seat on them.

unfortuanately--it wasn't the seat--i waitressed alot of years and my knees were the problem--the postion on most sportbikes is bent more--and this bod isn't 20 anymore--my right knee is the worst and had surgery on it about 6 weeks before--the brand doesn't matter to me--although my 1st bike is a harley--for me being in the wind is and always had been the important factor

Seeme, no, Ma'am, though SJs' comment is relevent. I did a round the edges tour, MT to Victoria,BC, to San Diego, to Disneyworld to Maine and back in June/July 89 on my 1000S, wouldn't say it was uncomfortable at all. 14k miles in 43 days, no passengers or full time riding buds. I did pick up a few short term comrades, all kinds of bikes. I think the comfort thing, besides being a matter of personal preference, is more a factor of the passengers' comfort, since they don't have as much going on to distract them from the status of their posterior. SJ, does Mustang make a big cushy saddle like mine for your BlackBird? hehehehe

Hi SJ, Jerry here, gotta go with Seeme, you have made what could be considered to be hateful statements here, and you have definitely been rude, and while I find it entertaining, I have to side with you that it should only be taken personally by those that have a guilty conscience, and should be ignored by the rest of us. To each his/her own, as we've both said before Bro, pick what you wanna keep and discard the rest.

By the way, I think the new seat was a good choice, and modifying your bike for her is a definite sign of serious intentions. Your GF is a looker, good on ya, and I started ridin' Harleys cause my GS1000S started gettin' me too many tickets. But I still got the S in the garage, 23 years old and still an honest 147mph, stock.

That's the one good thing about a Harley, you can wind that bich out all the way through town and still not get a ticket for speeding!.

Especially me on a Heritage Soft tail!!

SJ coulda run faster then it!!

Well, I'm not too old to brush off the sand, pick up the pieces, gather my belongings, tie up loose ends, change my profile back to single and be the wonderful, kind, caring, adorable, loveable, considerate, polite, sweetheart I was everyone loved and admired until nine weeks ago!. Got a brand new "Virgin seat and backrest" on Mr. Honda now.

you basically are a good guy--buttttttttttt sometimes you like to stir the pot when it doesn't need stirring--and when you do that you have a way of coming off rude and mean spirited--it is like you put your foot in your mouth

bantering isn't what alot of us like to do---we are here to make friends and more if it happens

i'm happy you have found someone that enjoys that in a person

Excuse Me! I'm not the one using "Foul Language" with Hateful Statements here, I am not rude until attacked and don't have a hateful cell in my body, unless your'e a fireant!

i'm not saying you used foul language--but you have made hurtful statements to some---you may not realize that some words cut deeply
you have used terms towarads some of the women here that are derogatory(sp)and used in the past to keep women in their place--below the male--i'm not saying that was your intent--but it is the outcome

LOL!! Now Mig...Let me see if I can set you straight on a lil "Uh Oh" that has been made, K?

I'M the on that has ""Un-Lady-Like" behavior", according to SJ.. and it's because of ME that he removed his g/f's pics. Now, while I CAN be "not an" Angel, I don't think I've EVER in all my days, insulted or embarassed a picture! I may have taken some insulting or embarassing pics, but I don't think I really ever embarassed a pic...so I think, as usual, SJ is just being...well....SJ! Now, where did that branding iron with the big ole capital L go?????

SJ, your embarassed? With the things that you have had to say to people? You have been mean, cruel, nasty and vicious. You make fun of things you know nothing about, you compare the women on this site to rattle snakes in a 50 gal drum? SJ, you aren't stupid, in fact, your a very intelligent man, you like to play yourself off as some backwoods country boy without a l*ick of sense. You know how mean and hateful you are to people SJ, and you think its funny....you give no thought as to how you speak to someone, what you say or what that persons beliefs may be, as long as you get a chuckle out of it. From now one....think about what you may do to someone else SJ, your liking to pick fights, get people riled up is funny.......
