the sin of it is that we have to tolerate ignorance---he/she/they have no respect for anyone even though at 1st we tried to help--if you don't give respect how can you expect to receive it in return??????

well i'm outa here tonight--have a date for dinner and whatever else--smiling

hahahhahahahahahahaaha

so goodnight to you all and have as pleasant an evening as you can

Ah, Bear, we know you are a good guy. And those of us that come around frequently (well, the sane ones anyway!) know who you were addressing. On my part, this "new" persona has been reported just like I have all the rest of them.

Dear Diva
it is really easy ,
first get a 220 line from a power source , make sure it is live . Take a bucket of water and dump it all around the bike .
Install the CB radio , remove your shoes and pants . now step in the puddle and insert the 220 line up your a$$ . Hope this helps .

No Kevlar here, bro; I only wish. Got no time for a breakdown, and I've always tended to look forward. It doesn't make it any easier, but it does provide some hope. I just wish there was some way to spare the kids. You can rule your life or let it rule you, I suppose. I don't do much of a job of ruling my life, but I sure won't let it rule me.

Thanks for the thoughts, Bikeman. Ya know, it's wierd, but Arlene always had a harder time dealing with Mom's death than I did. Most women don't have that good a relationship with their mother in law. I guess I was incredibly blessed to share my life with two amazing women, even if it was for all too short a time.

I'm tryin' to hold off the grandparent thing by reasoning with my sixteen year old's boyfriends. Opening the m a i l with my Pro-Tech Godfather, answering the p h o n e when they call after ten, sharing my views on fashion ("You ever come through my door with your lip pierced, you're going right back through it, open or not") and standing in the picture window when they come home late so they can see I care. Hope it works; she's a wild one. Dunno where she gets it.

I hear that, how come our kids get everything from us that you don't want and dam near nothing that you do want them to get???

I think sometimes that children are a blessing from god and then sometimes I think they're punishment for having sex!!

Bikeman- just rummaging around in old posts and found your March post in memory of your mother. Reminded me what I needed to get me through Mothers Day. Mom died in September of 1994, and Mothers Day in 1995 was tough for me too. This one has been devastating, with an anniversary on one end of the week and Mothers Day on the other, but you gave me a direction to look for help. I haven't been tracking well today. I've been forgetting what I was doing; I put primary lube in my tranny (caught it in time tho) and hadn't really had any way to come to grips with the pain. I was in the mall last night with the kids and a clerk asked us what we were doing for Mothers Day. I know my face froze up, and I hope it didn't scare her too badly. She looked like she'd just found Freddie Kreuger in the dressing room. I mumbled something and we left. I had thought I was doing OK until that point. I hope nobody minds if I post this- it was cleansing for me, and I hope it will help others who are remembering Mom instead of celebrating with her. It was on the announcements for my wife's funeral in February. We had covered about a third of the available verses at the funeral home when I found this. I closed the book and said, "This is the one." I know if I had written it, there are things I'd tighten up; and I know Springer would work his verbal voodoo on it and make it shine, but there it was, and I was in no shape to write anything. Maybe in another year or so.

Man a double kick dealin with your wife's loss too, dam bro, one of my beat friends , Kenny, is always tellin me I have rhino hide, as in being thick skinned. Sounds like you got kevlar hide or something!! I guess it's like everything else, ya just put your head down and keep movin forward right??

Hang in ther brother and be Thankful that you have the balls and the brains to deal with it all and keep takin care of business.

Dam I need...
