Memorial Day weekend in Washington,D.C. Everyone assembles in one of the Pentegon parking lots.The ride to the Wall starts about 2pm.

There are several campgrounds that cater to the riders.Bull Run Park which is about 20 minutes west of D.C, and another in La Plata which is about 20 minutes south of D.C.

They are always in Washington on Memorial Day. Go to see the wall. There's a big parade. I missed it last year. The folks I was supposed to go with said it was incredible and heart touching.

I thought Rolling Thunder was in Washington DC in May. Maybe there's more than one.
