This is a tough question to answer. There are so many people that I would like to meet for various different reasons.

For intelectual stimulation I would have to say Einstein and Aldo. Einstein was a simple man with simple values. But, he was a mathematical genious. Aldo Leopold was the father of modern wildlife science/management. If you read any of his works, you can't help but get pulled into his reality and perception of things.

Movie people! The Duke (John Wayne). One of my all time Western Favorits.

Let's see historically would be maybe Lewis and Clark or possibly Captain John Smith. I would have loved to see the wide open spaces of North American as they were able to see it. Before growth and development.

And, on the other end of the spectrum. Michelle Phiffer! Her in her little cat woman outfit. Augh! A total knock-out. Put her on the back of my bike anyday. Hehehe!

i have given this one alot of thought

if i was given the chance to sit down and have lunch with one being(i know i may take slack for this one) it would be Bin Laden

i have found in the past that if we are open to understanding where the other is coming from we can then agree to disagree vs being angry and spiteful

right now everyone is treating the other with anger and spite--without understanding that we are all different and are using those differences to hurt one another instead of enhancing each other

so Bid Laden it would be in the hopes that we could mend the hurt and pain inflicted and give our children and grand children the peace we all strive for

I know you mentioned no family members...but my Mom...I really miss her since she passed away 3/4/03 from lung cancer.
I will choose a few others though. My beautiful daughter, Christopher Reeve, Clint Eastwood, Cat Stevens (can't remember the name he goes by now!), James Taylor, & Eva Cassidy. Just to name a few...sorry! I couldn't just decide on one!
