slight change of plans, I dont think I will be camping at Philip Island this year as I have a run to Bomballa the weekend before for the celibration of motorcycling. I do plan to do the complete Barry Sheene memorial ride from Bairnsdale to the island and might get back to there for the races on the Sunday
That's the second time Lyn :). I'm going to spread rumours about you soon! I'm still waiting for the German pics too. I'll send you the address via your regular email. There is a lot of pressure on for rides in September...Oooow it'll be so good but tough to decide.

it would be magic to do NZ on bike, only been there once and loved it.... sorry to say my budget wont allow a NZ trip this year....maybe next time

Yes so ok its cold down here.. and yes the heating bill is huge!! but Spring is on its way! Dont think I will be able to make the GP for the Friday. Was thinking maybe more along the lines of the Saturday. (Not even sure thats going to happen now) but we will see.

Hey wouldn't ya hate to live in Gippsland at the moment with the freezing bl**dy temperatures - it was 38C in San Diego when I left the other day and I was in the pool with a beer....now ya have to like that!!

About the GP - Id love to go on the ride on the Thursday too but wont be able to get the Thurs and Friday off (just got the new hours) so might have to meet there, but Id be interested in staying the Sat night for sure.
What about everyone else? Whats your thoughts?

Ive put in for holidays for 2 weeks around that time. If they dont give it to me i reckon it might be time to pack up anyway. I need details Trev? we gonna meet for an arvo, night, for the ride???? for the gp?
Its up to everyone to work out just what they want to do there is two camp grounds on site for those who want to make a weekend of it or the ones who just want to catch up on one of the days would just have to work out a time and place to meet at the track. I would like to do the tribute ride to Barry Sheen which leaves Bairnsdale on the Thursday and rides to the GP and has a lap of the circut, they say its a great day with hundreds of bikes. still have a lot to work out my self yet but for those interested you might want to google the GP web page, heaps of info there.... then let us know what your thinking
