Hiya Girls and Boys...just thought I'd report in. GG you must have webbed feet to have survived Katherine...well done. Welcome to the mainland Kaz....lovely move.

Hi Mandy

Trev; You ought to know better!
Well last week it was my birthday and as all good pisceans do, went for a swim. Alas i look forward to the day that i will be able to swim in the ocean without fear of nasties and large beasts. A swimming pool had to suffice.
hope to see you all soon. A meet? Hmmmm.....sounds like a good idea Maz. Any ideas?
Hi all,
It's been a while since I posted anything on the forum but I do read the blurb from time to time and its good to hear that everyone is still in contact.
Cricket season is over now so my Sat's are free to get on the bike and hit the twisties (I bought an 87 GSXR1100 J model Suzuki, so the hills are alive with the sound of a Yoshi exhaust....lol).
Hopefully we can all get together for a trip before winter closes in....MB North & Korunburra is an awesome area, perhaps we can meet for a day ride sometimes soon ?
Take care all.....Tim

I just wish I had of shaved my legs before the photo was taken.... like most photos there is a story to it, this one is about making stupid bets with friends or trusting Maz to keep a secret LOL
Trev, I think thats a great idea and sure that Grumps will appreciate the jumper leads!! maybe its a good idea for a birthday pressie for him !!!
Ride safe all! Maz xx

the pages are screwed up a bit, dont even think we are all seeing the same page.....from other people I have talked with we can all see our own messages but not everyone else can see them
top of the page go to the sort by... and pick oldest messages first,,then click last.. seems to work for me
Thanks for that, it seems to have sorted its self out now but I was missing the last two pages for a while there......just thought I should let you know that when my car was stolen they also got the jumper leads I use on the bike.... I will make a new set before we next go on a ride together LOL

Had a great time away; no romance (sob!) but lots of good times. Spent time on west and east coast of canada with oz friends who are nursing (handy profession that one) and then went for a week down to the Dominican Republic and spent most of the time sipping margaritas and kicking back on the the beach. Im glad to be home; that atlantic wind just rips right through you and at minus 25 i came home to thaw out. Geez oz is one great place; now if only i had my motorbike........ had a bit of a play on it when i was in melbourne for 3 days (another sob!). Now c'mon give me some dirt..... promise i wont tell
Hi Gypsy
I would love to hear more about you trip one of these days along with a meal and few cold beers, next time you manage to get down this part of OZ let us and know as I sure there is a few who would love to catch up with you again

I was hoping to get to the island again thsi year but some low life decided they needed my car more then I did, well to be honest all they needed was the bullbar off it the rest they drove into a lake. as you can imagine my last few weeks have been a mixture of police reports insurance claims and trying to find some sort of replacment for my car. I have also had some major problems with the bike but a new battery, a rebuild of the starter and cleaning of the contacts in the ignition once again has the bike starting first time everytime
