Just a word of caution to you BK guys & gals heading over the border, they've tightened the requirements for border crossing and they now require a birth certificate and 2 forms of picture ID. They told me on my last crossing that they actually prefer a passport.
My family has had a cabin on a island in Newboro Lake (Ontario) since the 70s and crossing the border was always a relaxed situation, but that all changed on 9-11.
Hmmm. Just gave up going to Red River last weekend because of the weather (snow every night, rain all day every day). So I do have one more day I can take now...and I bet I could find a bottle of wine for Angel, just for keeping me warm.......
Now if I could only find the money.....lol
Well,my german pinscher looks just like a doberman pinscher becuz this is where they got the doberman breed from (made these guys bigger)my dog is only 30 pounds,so its an honest mistake,I have had doberman breeders think hes a doberman.SSSSSooo have a great day and back to the backyard bash,,,,,,,whos going???can I catch a lift??on a bike!

ladycrew write: Sorry but that dog is NOT a Doberman Pinscher.Have another look. Its a German pinscher 7 years old.And yes he bites, but only when I tell him .( or when Iam not home )NO one breaks into my home thank you very much............ Should I bring the dog with me ,Hummmmmmm????????? OH and Bear ,you would still have a warm bed to sleep in,the dog sleeps on the floor!
Ladycrew,
Please accept my apology for the extreme ignorance I have about the breed. Maybe it's the distorted screen on this crappy laptop I'm borrowing while I'm down here in Florida, or better yet, maybe I just prefer to have a warm pusssy in my lap. I've got two cats, Crockett & Tubbs, brothers that I've raised since they were 4 weeks old.

Bear, I'd recommend the trip highly, It's beautiful country up there. But before you get any naughty thoughts, you better check out ALL of LadyCrew's pics and take notice of the size of her Doberman Pincher, 'cause that'll put on a serious hurt'n. Ahy ??
falcon335 write: So we have a town, a date, a place to camp. Where exactly is the meeting? I mean if I have to drive 23 hours and 34 minutes (1556.49 miles) and follow directions from mapquest just for a Canadian BBQ, ok. But I'd like to know where I'm finally putting the kickstand down. Also, did I hear any of you lovely northern lasses offer to keep me warm at night? I mean, a guy drives that far one-way he should at least get something more than a burger and a beer.
Exact address will be privately e-mailed to interested folks. Out of towners will also get a personal guided tour of the scenic Niagara Falls on the 24. Falcon sweetie you know it would be my absolute pleasure to keep you warm alllllll night long.
Well Falcon, I guess you got your answer !! I don't think I've EVER seen so many Ls used in a word before, and that'll help make the 1500+ miles seem to disappear. It's beautiful country up there, I went up through Niagra Falls and across Canada to Michigan's Upper Pennisula one time and came back through Ohio & Pennsylvania. Wished I would have come back the same way. If she's offering a personally guided tour of the falls, jump at the chance, they're really incredible from the Canadian side. Good Luck & Have Fun !!
