Seems found out I'm "too" good with a gun...I don't relish the thought of parking in a 6 foot cell...got to much living to do...and no guy is worth wasting that much thought on..when it's done put a fork in it and move on....besides causes wrinkles,greyhair,and makes you ugly on the outside as well as the inside.....

SS i just use my gun!!!!!! faster and i don't have to get tooooooooooo close to them a few years ago i would have beat them up--had a brown belt--haven't practiced in quite a few yrs though

my way was more effective and quiker,,,,,,,

300 lb neighbor and a friendly ambulance driver......never darkened my door again.....

but clean-up was messy
didn't know a person could bleed that much

SSquirrel and Falcon..I agree..everyone..and I mean everyone needs to keep their eyes and their ears open.. When you see or hear signs of abuse, you need to be proactive and try to assist. Answer the cries and calls for help.

BACA and other anti-abuse groups can only do something when and if they know about it. And DHS typically either has too much power or not enough. I think what Rocky is trying to say is while joining a group is good, you need to get involved and not depend on others to help you whether you are an adult or a child being beaten. And if you have a friend that is being beaten, you need to get them to help. Get involved, don't just count on the group to do it.

the emotionally stuff can stay for life and affect all aspects(i know)

there is a triolgy about the worst abuse case in ca--the 1st is "a child called it"--horrid--had to read it for a class i was taking

BACA is good--anything that brings abuse to the atttention of the public is great

i was at the p'burg mall last fall--called the police--there was a dad yelling obsenities at his kids and snapping his jacket at them with the snap side hitting their bodies--verbablly threatening them

In Oklahoma we have a Chapter, and each State may, if not you can work to organize and I can get you in touch with our chapter here, an organization called BACA or Biker's Against Child Abuse..they raise money for and support such causes, and also provide emotional support for abused children and families.
