You gotta be joking Mark, You were never out on the streets long enough to have a good friend. Lets see from 1966 until 1975 at least. I believe it called juvy. when a kid is out of control they have to be put away. how many places would you say Mark/ wingrider1 from 1966 til 1975 maybe close to 5 or 6. then foster parents, then when you were a bad little boy for them you ran away. what part of that story was not true? and if I continue people I can tell you something that he did to his foster mother. now f--k with me some more wingrider1. make sure you copy this for the judge in media cause I have 32 copies of info. you gave to someone out here to post about me. whats good for the goose is also good for the gander. boohoohoo! the one who know much more, don't I Mark. oh I guess 2 wrong don't make a right but in this case I will always be right til the end. did the doctor tell you that you have the d-i-c-k-y do disease. his belly sticks out further than his
d-i-c-k-y does.LMMFAO DO YOU FEEL THE PAIN BIG BOY.

I have. Oh, wait though....I've done that for people I've never met too, and for some I don't even like.

Okay, so I never claimed to be brilliant.

Rev, I could have written your words! Yours sounds like a mirror of my life. I, too, would help anybody in any way that I could. The returns just aren't there.

I agree with Rev , my friends and family know they can call me day or night anytime , for any reason. I've moved a friend in the middle of a winter blizzard as well as gone to my sister's house to get a bat out of the attic at 2 am. As far as your love life goes Rev , who know's , things may change soon ;-) love may happen @ Cedar point.. hee hee

Rev guess you do need some friends and yes...they are hard to find but they are out there to befriended....

(make sense?)

I consider a friend someone I would feel comfortable calling at 4AM to help me out...an acquaintance I would not call.

I make myself available to all my friends/acquaintances. I let them know that I would be there if they needed someone to listen to them vent, a shoulder to cry on, if they want advice, or even to help with something that I would be able to do for them...moving things, picking up things, giving pointers on computers and software, etc.

I have helped out a lot of friends.

It's the returns that have been lacking.

Sounds like my love life!! LOL!!

You have all made some great statements about friendships and I agree with you all. Like Brock, I chose my friends wisely. I have a lot of acquaintances but few that I call a true friend. My friends are a friend the rest of my life. Friends are like diamonds. They shine through above all else. They are there for you always, in time of need never questioning. They love you for who you are and take you for face value. And above all else... buy you a frozen Margarita on a hot summer day!

I must disagree with that last statement, Falcon.

If they are only there when you have money or you can help them, and they aren't there when you need help or money, then they are just acquaintances, darlin'.

A friend is there with his/her truck when you are moving. An acquaintance finds a way not to be there.

When I moved into my current place, it was done by only me, my daughter, and her boyfriend. No family, no friends, no acquaintances.

I made mention to all, but alas, the results were quite informative to me.
