you get feeling better send me a line and I will come up to Idaho Springs and get you that ride. I should have my passenger floorboards on by that time....I can get you some much needed wind therapy.
God bless you all! You are all wonderful! I'm feeling much better, thank you! But I can still feel the residuals in my lower back and leg. I guess this just sort of hangs on for a while? Ugh! I just want to go for a ride! Boo hoo! And the weather has been soooooo nice! I keep my front door open and I can hear the bikes in the distance! WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
Faun..So sorry to hear of that you're in pain..I battle a weak muscle, from a car accident, that just refuses to hold my hip in place...my sciatic is being pinched and can't seem to get any relief...life you said, drugs and rest! :) It's just kinda hard to stay down..life does have to go on. Sounds like you have a wonderful son...tell him thanks from your BK friends for tending to his mom so well! Thoughts and prayers to you...Blessed Be! Angel :)
Thanks, girls. Saw a dr today and the news was just about the same. No work no play! I see you survived it so I'll assume that I will too! My son made me a bed in front of the computer so I could at least have you at my fingertips! Thanks again!
faun---if you can get in and out of a bath--take a warm to hot with epsom salt--natural muscel relaxer!!!! and it took about a week to feel somewhat better--then just be careful for a little
Thanks again, all of you! You're awesome. I would like to ask a question, tho. Those of you who have experienced this, how long did it take before you were able to go back to work or do things in a normal manner? I'm very active and have a hard time sitting still and this is driving me crazy! LOL!
no doll..probably wasn't the Indian since it is a harley clone.. Could have been that Indian jockey you had though..hahaha.. he was very concerned about you though as many of us were..I sure am glad you are feeling better..
Now y'all got me cryin' like a baby! Thank you so much for all the warmth you've sent my way. I feel the hot piano wire slowly being removed! You know...I think I'd rather have a baby! I never knew how painful this was until...Geez! Drugs and rest. I think I like my new lifestyle! LOL!
Thanks again, guys and gals! Lot's-o-love, hugs and kisses to you! Do you really think it could have been the Indian, Dragon?
Thoughts and prayers are with you..I know when pain is so severe it is so difficult to rest and find a single comfortable position...but with meds and prayers perhaps it will pass soon.
I feel for her, and hope the meds kick in, and hope it heals quickly!!! If you've never experienced it, a problem with the sciatic nerve can be (in my opinion) one of the most painfull things you can have. Imagine a red hot piano wire running from your lower back down the back of your thigh bone to your calf. Now pull the wire tight until your leg draws up and you start to wretch....
