My perfect day really doesn't have anything to do with bikes but, it would be........just one more day with my daughter & grand kids. One more time to tell them I love them. One more time to hear them call me "mamaw". That would be a perfect day for me. But then I would have to say goodbye again. Guess it is better left to memories.

Tn, I thought of my first husband..lost him to a bike crash...and, like you, I couldn't stand the goodbye again! Too much pain! It would only leave me wanting more...a lesson I've learned the hard way..no matter how much you "want"...when time is done, it's done!
Peace my friend! Angel

The perfect day for me is to just be able to wake up next to someone that has his arms wrapped around me and snuggle for awhile then get up get out of bed and start my day with the man of my life and take out our bike and go riding all day maybe on the way stop and just sit somewhere for just a little while... Sneak in a few soft kisses. Jump back on the bike and ride till the sun almost goes down and then sit and watch the sunset. Then get back on the bike ride home and do it all over again the next day... THAT TO ME IS MY PERFECT DAY..

Ditto! I agree totaly that would be a perfect day Babygirl! Hope you get that one day soon!

Thank you Darlin.. I think it might just come true.. A very good dream of mine has finally come through,.. As I wont name names but ahhhhhhhhhh I cant wait... Now all it takes is a ride there.,,

My perfect day...would be spent holding my children and my granddaughters close to me and sharing in the love of a true family...watching the wind race across the fields back home...smelling the fresh turned soil...watching a storm cloud build and smelling the rain coming from miles away...nice huh?

My son waking me up today to make up for a fathers day we did not share. Helmet at the ready and took me for breakfast. He is 14 and not realy much into bikes but knows what it means to me. He could not have thought of a nicer gift. Hmmmm, maybe I should have one more kid after all?

Perfect day? I think I'll strech mine into a weekend. I get off work fri and come home to that special someone and see that saddle bags are on, gear is packed and she's waiting there with a huge smile. I'm a spur of the moment type guy. To me, thats one of the most romantic jestures there is. There's just something about riding somewhere for a day, weekend or what with the person you love. Putting all your cares and work aside and giving a your utmost attension to your lady. Even if its just a 20 mile ride to a secluded cabin in the mountains, camping by a stream or lake, or just stopping somewhere along the way.

I'm in total agreement AZ...I'd pack your saddlebags AND mine too.
