IRELAND!!!!! I've always wanted to go there...and on a bike...wow, that would have been the best!! Do you like the new Celtic music that has been out for the last 10 years or so? It's my connection to my own Irish roots.
Glad you liked the 29 Dreams site! It is THE coolest place in the state! Nice stop over if your traveling east bound.

lv2r5
Boy I agree with that last line. I spent nearly 25 days in Ireland touring in a rental car solo and it would have been so much better on the bike being less sealed off from everything. Granted the rain on the west coast would have been harsh but then I would have stayed put longer and got to know more people.
Thank your for the 29dreams link. I checked it out and it looks like fun along with good inspiration.

SS...we think alike! And your right, if they don't ride or enjoy riding...then you spend too much quality time apart. Not a good thing!
I've dated non-riders.....it just ain't no fun! Miss the wind in my face while hugged up!
Of all the places I've been & the things I've done...it ALL could have been made better on a BIKE! LOL

Amen l2ride2005!!
I also think if they don't ride we will be spending too much time apart and that would be a friendship at best.

Romantically you should share mutual passions.
I am hoping when I find her she will have her own bike if not two.

I've decided that I don't want a relationship or even date a NON RIDER! Riding has become such a passion for me...how can I possible date someone who doesn't share it?

Thanks Thunder. I just knew that someone else out there had either been in a relationship or an *episode* as you call it.

I agree, 4 times counts. Don't know if you will get anything out of this but I ended a relationship last Nov due largely in part this exact thing. Only the roles were reversed. I rode and he didn't. He wanted to change me and ended up showing his true feelings which were his jealousy over my riding and the bike. It was a very difficult relationship and I'm glad that it's finally over. I don't think I will get involved again with someone that doesn't ride.

well YES..all four of them do count. You are not over analyzing, you are being cautious. Continue to stay aware and heed the red flags.

I wish you the best hon...CC

My husband and I are just about what you described except I LOVE to ride (unfortunately its hard for us to both ride with a 4yr old at home...so guess who gets to go...grin) I go when I can though. My husband is ALL biker and I have to say that comes with a lot of issues that other couples don't have. It works for us though. I don't ever try to be something I'm not (people would see right through it and I hate fake) but his friends and "family" are great. Unfortunately, we have issues to deal with in regards to this that most people never (least I hope they don't) have to deal with....but that's a whole nother story...grin. Bottom line is if it works for you then great!

Cutie,

Just out of curiosity, how did you meet this guy?

I always wonder to if it seems to good to be true... then when is the other shoe going to drop? What I've found is; he's broke, needs a place to live, is possesive, can't trust, is dominant, wants to run my life, always compares, do I measure up?, says one thing but does another....

I'd just like to find someone mutually attracted to that will walk beside me & not try to change me. If you find yourself wanting to change a person, then that person is not for you.

He sounds like a winner so far Cutie!

Hey Cutie,

How hardcore? Is he a clubber? You had better read some other posts around here before you go and get yourself into something you wouldn't like. But as far as a normal biker, no problem as long as you don't mind him hanging with the guys wrenching most of the time & you had better like to ride or expect to be left behind. But, heck ya, it can work. We're just people after all!
