Yeppers,, You are a biker in my book Leatherlilly. I have a suburban in my driveway that did not move for months. Probably got freakin flat spots on the tires.. Do I care,, ?? Hell no,, I was only good for haulin the canoe anyway.. LOL
funny I neer thought of myself as a biker...but as per your definition I am a biker....i always say Im a girl that rides a bike....
But well I didnt move my truck for more than 3 weeks and even then it was only to put air inthe tire...and so that i could put the harley i bought int he back yard...LOL
Okay yesterday in the monsoon i did my errands in my truck....it killed me to spend 30 in gas....for 30 in a bike i would be able to put about 600-700 miles onit...at minimum...with the trusck about 100maybe 150.
so am I a biker?? I did just by chaps... i did just look into buying gerbins and bought a pair of under armour pants to keep me from freezing my a$$ off...and i did just get some rain clothing as well...
I think of a biker as a person riding a Cruiser, often seen in black leather with tattoo's all over the place (stereo-type). A person on a 1000cc Gixxer will never qualify as a biker to me. He is a motorcyclist, or just one that enjoys riding a bike.
I tend to agree there. If you buy a big expensive bike, and use it for a towel hanger, you probably would not qualify as a "REAL" biker. I put about 1000 a month on my bike. I will take the car if it is raining, and I don't want to spend an hour polishing chrome :)
