Today is the day to give yourself permission to break the rules, to move outside the boundaries of your usual way of looking at things. For the time being, forget about practical, realistic ideas. Dare to go beyond the self-censorship that comes from worrying about what other people think.

When you follow your heart and dismiss unimportant "shoulds," you open the door to creative, spiritual and personal breakthroughs. Try it - today!

Color AND ride outside the lines. Stay off the trail, make a new one. Live outside the box, the survival rate is better. Enjoy it all, miles dont count.
Dont look for the prize, look for the finish line.
Do yourself a favor.....love. AND do it right!!

Yeah, what he said!

Mo why in the world would you want to?

Ya know Lady Char I need a change...lol....Go figure!...But trust me I'll never go too far in I'm too rebelious!....Anyway my family and friends would become too concerned thinking something was seriously wrong!....I can't even wear something a little different for a day and without people questioning it.....I guess I made too much of a mark in this life being me! and I was not always loved for it! But at least I can say To My Own Self I was True!

Self-Censorship? Was I supposed to do that? I am so glad I live in this day and age when I don't feel as though I have to censor myself...when a woman can say and do what she wants...

The only time I can think of in my life that I have stayed within the lines...is when I was coloring...LMAO

I have taken lots of chit in my time for following my own heart and mind. Dancing to the beat of a different drum some say. I'll take all that chit rather than conform to someone's lines that don't fit me. Conform...that's a nasty word to me.

Ok..so I'm not a coloring book person...I can live with that. *smiling*

Weird is good.

Coloring outside the box and being the best 'you' is a joyful road. We do get chit for it, however those who love us for who we are get to share in the coloring fun.

This reminds me of a piece I wrote about a year and a half ago.

COLORING BOOK PEOPLE

Coloring book people stay within the lines of pictures that someone else has drawn for them. They use appropriate colors.

Picasso was not a coloring book person.

Coloring book people follow the rules that someone else has made for them. For breakfast they have God-In-A-Box with the label neatly printed on.

Jesus was not a coloring book person.

Coloring book people take meds someone else has prescribed for them and only participate in over-the-counter escapes and explorations.

Timothy Leary was not a coloring book person.

Coloring book people color the pictures in a copy of a book someone else printed for them until they're done.

And then they're gone.

Hahahahahaha!
